Did PK lost faith in God by the end of the movie?

In the movie PK, did the alien lost all faith in the existence of God by the end?

He stopped believing in Godmen and all rituals invented by men to please God. He prayed to God of every religion to get his remote back but nothing happened.

He lost faith in the power of prayers which all human beings do to find hope in their daily lives. The movie showed that the only purpose prayers serve is to give false hope to keep us moving, but nothing would change unless we put any real effort.

He realized that all Godmen are just fake mediators who dupe the public for money by giving them fear of God. He realized all religions are nothing but a sham which are made by human beings themselves, then why didn't he reached this conclusion that God is also man-made idea, and there's no such thing in reality if he didn't help him or made his presence felt to him in anyway possible in the whole movie?

On the contrary, he started off with not knowing anything about faith and God and ended up with understanding what these concepts mean in the real sense.

Good question. I slept through most of the movie so don't quite know what happened.

The real answer is because Indian audience is not ready to confront the idea that there maybe no God.

The biggest mystery is how a member of an alien civilisation that has mastered inter-galactic space travel can be so stupid.

In general people lack scientific temperament. Too engrossed in dogmas and doctrines. Religion, which is now sometimes disguised as spirituality, dominates that. Contrast it with European nations — those were the center of scientific renaissance and the ideological battle between religion and secular philosophy. Come WWII, Europe took a significant hit, USA dominated the technological progress. India on the other hand was falling prey to colonial rule and pretty much just trying a find a footing for itself relying on outdated relics of the past. We missed a good part of the scientific revolution, industrial revolution etc., while trying to find our identity which was very significantly religious and cultural.
