No one.

Current ITV is pathetic with the worst set of delusional wooden logs.

Moreover, we know the fate of previous transition attempts.

Its sad to see the attitude of people towards TV actors here. Any TV actor can make it big in bollywood if given a good chance. Actors acting on TV are as good as the ones in Bollywood in fact better the only difference is that most TV actors are self made and come from small towns while Bollywood is filled with people who already have contacts there. Even some of the so called outsiders in Bwood come from a wealthy family and have good connections.

A TV actor works 12- 16 hours a day for years and they are given script right on spot, there is no time to prepare and build a character yet many of them manage to make it work despite nonsensical script. Imagine what they can do with good scripts and better direction. Most actors and actresses are also much better looking than their Bollywood counterparts.

Its good that with rise of ott content the gap between tv and films is being bridged. Soon I hope this star system and box office and PR drama diminishes too.

I haven't watched a single Hindi TV show since the past five years but recently attempted one. The problem isn't in the actors, the problem is with the pathetic writing of those shows. There's no cohesive story line and forget character sketches and development. How do you expect these actors to perform well and judge them on the basis of that?

Unless and untill writing doesn't improve, we cannot pass such judgements. I will never write off an actor.

Having said that, I've seen glimpses of certain actors and there's something always off about them. Whether it's how they emote, how they deliver their lines, voice modulation, body language and the nuances they could bring in.

Rarely, have I seen actors invest energy into building their characters on television. It really then boils down to the fact that the creative team doesn't bother about good writing. That which would give actors the margin to perform.

I've said enough.
