I'm sorry Jasmine might have had a traumatic experience past. But I don't think you should use your trauma as an excuse for your shitty behaviour. How is that fair?
Chalo I'll also understand ki 'triggers' hote hai and all. Then those triggers should be addressed, naa ki paint everyone with the same broad brush. Shouldn't you take responsibility of addressing them, rather than declaring the opposite person is dangerous and has criminal tendancies?
Ajaaz toh himself also has a traumatic past. When Jasmine insinuated that he was dangerous and doesn't know his limits around women and she felt threatened, wouldn't this statement of hers have an adverse effect on Ajaaz? Yeh kya baat hui.
Saamne waala will treat you as an equal. He or she doesn't have a history of your past and triggers. If you felt threatened or something address it first. Go to BB, complain and then BB should also take care of it. (Wishful thinking, but still). But nahi, bas declare kardo aur hogaya. And not just declare, trying your level best to drive that point home. Not once but twice with 2 seperate individuals. Your past experience should not exempt you from taking responsibility of your actions.
Isn't Ajaaz pulled up for his weird antics? Is he given a free pass, ki he had a traumatic experience and all so it's justified. I mean you can empathise and even understand that from where Jasmine's reaction might have come from (genieune or not debatable), but doesn't make it right.
And enough with the virtue signalling. Pure and pios BB nahi hai. Every person has good and bad both. If we start pulling up people for their thoughts, instead of implementation toh matalab ho hi gaya. I mean you can find that wrong or person criminal for sure, but doesn't make the person that just because you think so. Don't people here say, I feel like slapping this contestant and all? So does it mean that we are also voilent and have voilent tendancies?
Not saying this in defense of Rahul or Ajaaz. I don't care much about anyone. But this I had to say. Would have said the same if it was Nishant, Abhi or Jaan also. Joh galat hai woh galat hai. I mean mere liye.
Edit : And shame on Rubina and co for enabling this instead of addressing it. You were also a part of wrongfully accusing a person and not just accusing, milking it to the core. Pathetic.
ICAM. Thanks for beating me to saying most of what I was going to say - saves me the typing 😆
To add:
WTF has already drawn the parallel with Eijaz's difficult past - I feel for him too, as I feel for whatever Jasmine may have gone through - but does that mean Eijaz will be issued a free pass if tomorrow he lagaoes baseless ilzaams on one of the women there, courtesy his past issues? No, I think not.
So I fail to see how it is ok for Jasmine to do so. Especially given how hard she's trying to force that narrative - the one that paints Rahul a criminal. Going even further with Rahul than she did to paint Eijaz a man with shitty intentions towards women.
Do I think it was stupid and thoughtless for Nish to bring Harpic in that task? Absolutely. Am I going to hang him for using it or even attempting to use it? No - because he didn't. And the same goes for Rahul and his stupid ideas of bringing knives. Bash him for that - sure, because had it been done, it could've caused harm. But labelling him a criminal based on that is pathetic. There has been no crime nor attempt of one. The threshold for attempted crime is much much higher than "he thought to put knives near the buzzer".
Koi dhamki nahi di thi Rahul neh Jasmine ko - and she exposed herself about that when she repeated the same words to Eijaz when he asked her that very valid question. And overall - given what I've seen of Rahul so far in the house - do I believe he's out to physically hurt anyone - nope. In fact he was the least physical one in that farm task. That impression can change of course, in the future - if he actually does something to the contrary.
I can almost feel the brickbats and judgement that's going to come my way as I say this - but to me, this appears to be Jasmine's preferred card and her game overall. She wants to beat people through false accusations, twisted narratives and maligning their reputations. And to me - that is a hella dirty game.
The difference I see between her and Eijaz so far? Eijaz's difficult past and the lingering fears from it hinder and hamper him from being able to play openly - which is to his detriment alone. Jasmine expects hers to hand her privilege, and give her a free pass to paint everyone with the same broad brush - which is to everyone else's detriment.
