The next legit superstar in actresses after DP/Alia?

The next face of MCU after Robert Downey Jr, Brie Larson.

MCU movies are going to be much bigger at box office in upcoming years. That would catapult Brie's popularity in India to the top easily. It also helps that none of the names mentioned in the poll have it in them to be the no 1. Some lack talent, some connections and backing.

India is bigger than multiplex-going audiences and those who understand English. Bollywood is still going to dominate, I feel.

Anyway who is your pick in terms of talent from the names in the poll?

Looks and charisma wise its Alaya F, Tara Sutaria and Manushi Chillar.

Now all they need are strong scripts and memorable songs.

The last female super imo was DP and there is no successor post her...and all female superstars (go back to even Sridevi and Madhuri) got great films and really good songs.

Aleya F. reminds me of Priyanka...ambitious and uber-smart. Fingers crossed, she'll have a good filmography too.

Disha cannot act, so that rules her out I guess though in terms of launde lapades she is wayyy ahead than the others.

Ananya and Sara are popular among teenagers. Ananya gets some 5000 comments on her Instagram posts.

Tripti is the most talented but she doesn't have offers in hand, unfortunately.

India is all about multiplexes now. Single screens are hardly left even in small cities and towns, and MCU movies are not just watched by English speaking crowd. It has became extremely popular even among the masses after Endgame.

I think it would be easy for Brie to topple all Bollywood actresses in popularity. Ever seen Deepika or Alia get this type of audience reaction in theater?

If I have to choose one among these, and someone has to be at the top obviously, of course it's going to be Karan Johar's next daughter Janhvi.

Enough though we haven't seen her act yet, the big pageant win means people already know her and her first movie is YRF with Akshay... seems like it is going to be a big launch and she is backed by the right people so if the acting skills are there, she will be going places!

I agree with you. Except that I have seen a lot of kids and teens loving Tara (mainly because they've seen her since Disney) and prefer her over Ananya/Sara...poor kids felt cheated after SOTY 2 😆

Disha's popularity reminds me of Katrina's. Same innocent cute face jispe sab marrte hai, but can be hot at the same time.

I need to see more of Tripti. Coz you need more than one strong scripted film, don't get me wrong. Plus she needs a mainstream project where she gets to dance et al.

Even Deepika's success with Cocktail was called a fluke but he did Chennai Express, Ram Leela, YJHD back to back great performances.
