I find her sudden fighting spurs every episode so annoying. I get we are trying to build up tension that she is finding out Omkar is a psycho while her family thinks he is god and megha eggs her on

I just found my ears hurting hearing her whine about how dare her husband allow her to work in a womans clinic. She who used to avoid and hide from all men who flirted with her over her beauty found that demeaning🤣

It was like someone giving you a million dollars but only in 100 dollar bills and you are offended ten dollar bills were not given because you feel you should get everything in this world even if ten dollar bills worried you before...

Omkar getting mad at her whining i dont blame tbh i think other than a pretty face Mayura seemed so spoilt and demanding in the last two episodes. I think it was her tone more than anything...

Again before feminists come for me...I think to be shown as a strong woman there are better ways then showing us this...

To show Mayura being controlled by omkar the following things would have been more effective:

1. Mayura wanting to attend classes and Omkar flat out refusing and hiring someone to teach her at home

2. Mayura wants to practice her doctor stuff, and gets an internship thats really coveted by many Omkar refuses to send her away for a few weeks

3. Mayura's parents are sick and wants to go home Omkar refuses to let her

I think i liked the fact there was some backstory given as to why omkar did not want her to work... that was a nice touch

Agreed! The script is making the female look irrational. Many clinics focus on one gender; not that big a deal. The actress’s dialogue delivery is pretty awful; that also makes things worse. I think so far the actress is the weakest link in this show. They need to improve her make/up and work on dialogue delivery which is either saccharine sweet or screechy.

Yes we do have women n children’s exclusive hospitals .. even I did not understand what she made such a big issue over it .

Serving children is part of serving future humanity only .

Would like to respectfully disagree.

As Mayura said, what she chooses to do as part of HER job is HER choice, not Omkar's. She wants to treat everyone as a doctor, regardless of their sex. Therefore, it's not Omkar's decision to make.

Mayura does not want to be objectified by other men, but which woman does? 😳 If she does not want to encounter perverts, does that mean she should stop treating male patients? If we extend this line of reasoning, she would have to stop interacting with all other men except Omkar (I'm sure he would love that). In the name of protection, it actually restricts a woman's freedom. The problem is the harasser, not the person being harassed.

It was quite clear from the scene where Omkar says, "Clinic toh aap ko de diya lekin chalega meri marzi se," that he wants to control Mayura at all costs. This is the very definition of the show's title- Pinjara Khubsoorti Ka. It's a beautiful cage, but still a cage. Omkar will never be satisfied till he can control Mayura completely.

It may not be 'a big deal' for others, but it is for Mayura. Why does Omkar get to dictate who she treats? If Mayura wanted a women's only clinic, it would be fine but she wants to treat everyone. Would it be okay if Mayura asked Omkar to not have female employees at his workplace? No.

Omkar cannot stand Mayura around any man except himself, her father, Peeyush and his father. He was psychotic enough to electrocute her cousin brothers. 🤢 He does not think like a reasonable person. Even a completely innocent interaction with another man angers him, like in the case of poor Kundan.

I am honestly quite impressed with Mayura and how she puts forth her arguments without mincing any words. Did not expect her to fight Omkar back so soon. I thought she would be a typical TV bahu at the beginning but so far, she does not take Omkar's bullshit. I wonder if this will induce Omkar to reveal his true colours in front of her.
