The people will show them. Let them bring their movies to the theaters .

They will use their freedom of speech and expression to mock the PM, the Hindu traditions, culture, God and Goddess but won't acknowledge the issues in their industry.

I am sorry but what is with people comparing “offensive scenes in movies “ to “slandering by media”

- are fiction

- slander characters not real people
- tell make believe stories

- put a disclaimer that they are fiction and part of someone’s imagination

now The argument that they influence people is a different one ...it’s also telling of how easily ppl get influenced without having their own brain that they can think with

but the issue here is not that the media is influencing people...it is that they are outright making accusations without proof

Media in this case

- reported on real people

- accused real people of serious crimes without a conclusive source or evidence

- slandered and name called real people and a real industry that is the source of income for several people

- stalked and harassed anyone who’s name “came up” - again real people not movie characters and again...without any conclusive proof

Few years back my friend worked in the area. Me and my friend casually got inside TOI office at 10 PM sat inside the premises, and had tea with without any pass or ID..on the sofa indoors.. No one asked a thing. We had no business being there 🤣

One of my wishes in life is to meet Ravish Kumar- became a big fan when saw one of his shows where he actually quoted references for all that he was saying so that the viewers could check them as well - that kind of evidence based reporting is so unusual when it comes to Indian media.

As for this news ,somewhere I am reminded of the classic Indian movie"Jaane bhi do yaroon"
