Kavya isn't bothered about law. If u people remember the episode where Kavya herself said to vanraj that she knows that he can't give her social status . This means she knows that status belongs to Anupama only and she has accepted it .

Infact Kavya was never ever bothered about it till now because she was very secure about vanraj s love. The moment vanraj started giving importance to Anupama for sake of society or whatever she started to get insecure.

If Kavya had decided some other day or if she had done this before. This could be termed as she is doing it for personal happiness but the fact she is doing on same day just doing to fix her insecurity.

The faster Anupama finds out about Vanraj, the better for her. Missing Rakhi, as she will reveal Dhamaka style and be done with it once and for all. Dolly’s husband, Nandini, and Anirudh are all slow pokes and not catching the bull by its horns.

She certainly doesn’t deserve the likes of him but looks like she will not forgive him when she finds out as she said yesterday during musical chairs that near or dear, a mistake is a mistake.

Kavya has not only lost her mind but is wickedly bold, flirting with Vanraj under everyone’s nose so openly. Then she tells him she will be careful, how? When? She is terrible, comes to Anupama’s house during the party celebrations, shoves the hostess off the chair and wants to be crowned Queen at the party? She already got what she wanted which is Vanraj agreeing to marry her then why come wreck the mood? I used to have a grudging liking for Kavya, no more.

Vanraj is totally black, no shades of grey in that man. Deceitful to the core, selfish, self-serving, chauvinist, he is everything a husband should not be. Can’t stand his expressions when he rolls his eyes or gives that long suffering look to Anupama. She will be well rid of him.

Kavya was busy rising in her career and paid scant attention to the darja of being wife until now. With her upcoming divorce with Anirudh, she is suddenly going to be free and single and though she refused Vanraj’s offer of marriage in his first flush of infatuation, she now wants to be married to him. She has been coming around more often and seeing Anupama’s place in the house (nothing to be envied, more to be pitied) and wants to queen it over all of them and be ready-made mom to Anupama’s kids.

Vanraj, on the other hand, initially wanted to marry Kavya but soon realized he can have his cake and eat it too. So the thought of marriage didn’t reoccur to him until now that Kavya is threatening to leave him if he doesn’t marry her.

Neither seems to get it that there is nothing legal about this second marriage. Kavya has been having an affair with Vanraj for so long that she is blatantly possessive and overly brash in exercising her “rights” over him. He seems starry eyed enough over this younger woman that he not only tolerates her tantrums but seems to enjoy them.

Two peas in a pod, dark of soul, selfish to the core, they certainly deserve each other all the way to damnation which is where they are headed literally and figuratively. A marriage between them will not work once the flush of attraction has worn off which it will once reality sets in and Kavya has to manage the house alongside of Vanraj.
