Never felt Ranbir was like that. Its my POV completely although. I always found him to be an immature college kid with a good heart. He was never typical. This is the reason why I was attracted to him since the beginning. And this is the reason why Pranbir gelled very well since the beginning. Prachi was matured and could handle Ranbir.

But I really loved their first 2 meeting scenes.

If you are pointing towards rudeness, Both Ranbir and Prachi were rude towards each other at the beginning. But even then they had a good heart. Ranbir wanting Riya to be his gf was his immaturity.
