This the reason female actors are easy target. Plus there are some proofs of some involvement. Now male actors would be questions.

I think it’s more universal than that though. Look at how Ariana Grande was treated after Mac Miller overdosed. They’d been broken up for a while, and he’d struggled with addiction even prior to their relationship, but people still claimed his death was a consequence of her moving on and/or not supporting him. Generally, when young men suffer from mental health issues, like depression, addiction, etc. people blame the females in their lives. It’s embedded into most patriarchal cultures that the role of woman is as a companion or support to the man, and when something happens to him we classify it as her failure. It couldn’t be farther from the truth, because we women are our own people with our own needs and desires, but that’s still something that society at large needs to accept.
