None of the previous names had anything to do with misogyny. Only Alia can be counted in that. The general public was pissed about nepotism and they decided to make Alia the face of it instead of male nepo kids like Varun or Ranbir.

Actually, Karan Johar faced the most heat and Mahesh Bhatt too. Alia is a daughter to both of them and let's face it, her fanbase is non-existent compared to everyone else so that's why she got the heat.
