Which actress will benefit from the backlash against DP and Alia?

DP and Alia both faced backlash in the last few months-- Alia for the nepotism angle and Deepika for the drugs controversy. In fact, the way it was carried out was like a systematic sabotage of their reputation. Do you think in the midst of this outrage any other actress will benefit, in terms of an alternative?

If so, who do you think it would be?

What about Shraddha and Sara?

I want to see the films rolling without these 4 actresses.

Our heroes will rescue which damsel in distress in their films?

But it's not just DP and AB, everyone is facing the heat. Taapsee and Swara coz of Anurag (and in hindsight, drugs too), Kangana becuase, well, she is Kangana. Ananya and the star kids are also out of the safe. It's mostly actors like Tripti, Mrunal etc who are safe enough, but they don't have that much fan following, so ki faayda?

Kirti too will be bashed becuase of her relationship (?) with SSR (m not hinting at romantic one, just professional)

Sonam, Sonakshi are almost out of the competition and the seniors like Kareena are not much in focus right now.

I agree with you, lots of people are under fire at the moment. But why I mentioned Alia and Deepika is because they are top actresses. No-one else comes close, Katrina and Kareena included. Shraddha is also in the same controversy. That leaves Kiara/Kriti/Jhanvi/Ananya but the latter two are again facing a lot of flak for being 'nepotistic' products.

So I guess only Kiara and Kriti and mabe Disha stand to gain as they are controversy-free

True, in fact her fans have been completely solid and loyal in the midst of outrage. But what about the neutral audiences -- won't they get influenced?

Kiara isn't that much popular except for as Kabir Singh and Dhoni's onscreen lover and Disha as the go to hotness quotient😆 but yeah, only they can gain some benefits of all the heat everyone else in getting.

Who will benefit? That would be Alia, DP, Sara and Shraddha, if their PR teams know how to do their jobs properly.

They have to hang in there till the lockdown opens but as upside down as it sounds, it can be used as an opportunity.Do you want to know Sanjay Dutt's biggest opener? It was Khalnayak after he was arrested the first time. Go figure.

Granted, these are women and we want our heroines to be pure and pavitra 24/7 but this is the zamaana of social media and no opportunity for footage is wasted.

I don't think Alia or Deepika will be affected by the outrage. The general public is just interested in watching good movies and these two are far too big to be ignored so no one.

In fact, this is probably an unpopular opinion right now but if DP, Shraddha, Sara play their cards properly, this alleged scandal can actually benefit them. It's often been shown that legal cases actually benefit established actors' careers because of the massive publicity and ability to later draw on "victim" narratives and experiences. Of course, their reputations have been damaged and it will take a while to build that trust back but now they have a story...
