I think what Autumn_Rose is saying is not wrong on an individual part. Not many people like to indulge in folks with mental illness. Not many people like to be in a relationship with them. Simply because it's not easy. It can be really draining and not everyone is willing to do that and I believe they shouldn't be made compelled to either. It's ultimately a choice.

But that doesn't mean people will mental illness do not find their soulmates. There exist people who don't mind losing everything they have for the ones they love. Taking care of them doesn't feel like a burden to them but they are grateful that they get to do something for the ones they love for they believe, being with people in their mental illness is a much better option than switching to someone with a better mental health.

2. We can’t accept depression/suicide. We will believe every absurd theory to deny suicide.

What do men do when a woman develops mental illness? Abandon, slander and remarry.

Except in very rarest of the rare cases, of course.
