How is that an assumption? Let me narrate the whole time line and tell me why shouldn't his family be suspicious of Reha:
The woman comes in his life, he suddenly isn't in contact with his family and friends, he suddenly falls extremely sick and calls his sisters,they come to know Reha is staying with him at a resort, they come to pick him up but for some reason he doesn't go with them, In coming months they realise he is not in control of his life anymore and is on heavy medication while Reha and her friend( who she appoints as his manager) are taking care of his career and finances, his jiju in his chat shows his concern saying he is worried that how he isn't control of his life anymore and the company around him isn't good and even offers him his help but he doesn't respond. The jija ji files a complaint through watsapp ( for people asking why didn't he file an FIR.. Well Sushant was a Bollywood star, his family definitely couldn't do much there without it becoming a news, so his jija ji who is an IPS officer might have asked his colleague to check on him as they were worried) All this happens while Reha still after knowing everything continues to function as if it's normal ( who keeps on ordering drugs for your bf if you know everything bout his condition???) Around may he started to get in touch with his friends and family ( he met mahesh and called shewta di after about an year) just a week after he is back in touch with his friends and family Reha leaves and blocks him, Disha dies and he is paranoid that his name is coming up in the case for no reason, he tried to contact Reha thrice after 8th but she doesn't respond.
I'm not sure Republic TV could've written a more pathetic version of events than this.
He was always in contact with his family. His family knew about his medications. They visited him numerous times. His mental health was always bad, he had seen a Pyschiatrist as early as 2012. His Jija, an IPS officer, didn't bother doing anything after he unofficially asked his collegue to go beat up Rhea? Couldn't do much more...guess izzat is more important that "life" allegedly.
Here's what we do know as of now
1)Sushant was a heavy drug user way before Rhea came into the picture. Recreational users don't use it at work.
2) There is no 15 Cr.
3) His sister procured Pyschotropic drugs for him, illegally which are way more dangerous than Weed.
4) He was Depressed, possibly Bipolar.
5) Rhea left him a week before his death. He was under the care of his sister.
Rhea just came in his life at the wrong time. He was messed up for a while, on a downward spiral. His family was responsible for him during his last days. What did they do? Leave a Bipolar addict all alone. You want to charge someone for abedment of Suicide. Charge his sister.
