I missed the episode, but that's messed up they didn't consider Ishani's wishes. She clearly feels forced into this wedding and her family is acting like they're doing it for her well-being. Vansh even says to Riddhima that Ishani may have trouble adjusting to a marriage of convenience, as Riddhima herself has been unable to adjust to it. Then why is he pressuring his sister? And poor Angre, the family says he's not a servant but they're clearly using his loyalty for their own selfish purposes. Ishani will treat him like trash. Look at Mrs. D'Souza, a loyal employee for so many years, has served Vansh especially, and he doesn't even shed tears at her death. :( I know it's all for drama purposes, but I wish they didn't act like this marriage will be a good thing, or that if someone works for your household you can exploit them.

Exactly, this is not about logic, if it was about logic I might have just laughed it off. But this will only make the viewers regressive. They couldve included some other track to Make this marriage happen. Now a days I don't believe a child needs forceful marriage to survive, he rather will be better raised by a single parent or if she didn't want it, abortion was a fair choice. Anyway, indian serials will never promote all this no matter how good the show looks

When I think in real life then you are right, everyone should respect Ishani and her wish. Ishani did not want to have an abortion, she wanted to give the baby up for adoption. If I remember well that scene. But this is a series. And honestly it seems to me that this is a better way to get married, than violently how many times have I watched in the series. Where they are forced to marry them, and neither of them wants that. Here Andre agreed to the wedding, and he himself said that he did not marry because he worked for them, but considered it his duty.

Abortion is a taboo topic in most countries, and honestly they have now banned abortion in some countries. Now, I also think that marriage is not necessary to raise a child, but the question is what kind of parents are. Ishani is not ready to be a mom and she proved that in today’s episode and yesterday’s. Now that someone is promoting abortion is unlikely, even if it sometimes happens, it is usually that some how has forced to do it.

I know where you're coming from but what the bottom line should be whatever the woman carrying the baby decides. I think it's just her decision and this is a show in which later on they may show ishani changed and is a loving mother etc but I'm reality forced things seldom produce good results.

I agree that a woman should decide about her body and her life.

Exactly what you said this is just a series, and if we take it seriously then we have a problem.

I am positively surprised that they even came up with the idea to show that she is pregnant and not married.

And that is a rarity in Hindi series. We are taking small but sure steps towards the modern world.
