Chapter 4 "Their eyes Met"

"Aziz"! "Remember this place"? This is where I met her"!.

"Splashing water on face, Aziz glanced behind at Jalal listening his words, Jalal was sitting over ground leaning back on Rock, staring at the sky. He didn't answer him, taking his silence as acknowledgement for his words, He continued in lost tone.

"Help"!.hel....p..

Twirling the Deer stuffed in wood stick above the lighted fire. Taking small bite of tandoori chicken in hand, he glanced around in the direction voice come from. Then saw above at left where a girl fall on Hill, then slip from it, the cry was because of fall his heart beat raced up at the sight, the girl quickly caught up over the rock edge but didn't yell again.

"Hang on there I'm coming"!..

Taking life was nothing big for him, helping everyone wasn't something he always does, but today he didn't had time to make decisions either, in the heat of moment for sake of humanity he rush to help. Till the time he reach below the rock the girl hands has lost strength to hold on to rock, her hold losen he didn't Gets time to steady himself to seize his breath, she fall over him and both fall on ground Panting breathlessly. perhaps the shock of fall was to much for her, As she passed out over him murmuring "Save My friends"! He was left speechless, at her appearance and the warmth radiating from her.

"Jalal what you're doing"? Who is she"?..

The voice snapped his attention as pushing her off from himself he get up from ground, Embarssed by how his friends found him lost in the embrace of Girl more likely in her looks. But his question who is she"? Made him curious to, he glance down at her then answer.

"I don't know"! I was enjoying my meal"! "Cooking more"! "Heard her scream"! "As she fall from sky"!

"Fall from sky"? Seriously Jalal"? She look like fair-maiden from nearby village"! Not some fairy to fall from sky"!

"What"? Fair maiden from nearby village"? Don't go on her appearance Aziz"!.. "look at her she's like princess in disguise"!

Pointed Jalal in firm tone he Gets time to conclude her move well, the slight trace of brusie, her not yelling for help again though she hang on Rock. Was enough to stat she's brave by blood, courageous by heart , making Aziz to glance down at her but then Jalal himself stood before him to not let him see her, making Aziz curious and frown in confusion. And get bewildered by gaining the glance full of possessivness from Jalal.

"No don't dare to look at her"!

"I won't"! But now what"?.

"Get my Horse"! "We needs to go above there"!

Motion he towards the top of hill, as he answer the question of Aziz making him confused and curious but he knew better when to question when to stay silent without word he rush to free their horse tied near Banayan tree, while Jalal carried her in arms and little while later, mounted over his horse approaching him along with Aziz. To help her friends who were on top of hills.

"Let go off Past Jalal"!

"I can't she won't let me"!

Answer Jalal in grim tone, coming to present by Aziz voice, he knew he should forget her, but how one can forget the face they see in prayer time"? Or voice they hear in dreams"? It's not possible even if it mean they're not meant to be. Getting up from ground he clutch on the bag full of wooden toys stuffed his sword behind his tunic. A cue for Aziz to get ready for their mission.

Giggling at the snorted look of Jodha she passed another perfume bottle near her nose making her scrunch her brow in annoyance. But her gaze fall on men aporaoching their way. She immidately spoke up in low tone audible to her partner viciously pretending to checking the perfume.

"Kanika"!.."There comes our Prey"!

Kanika look at her then back at men she pointed then swiftly nodding her head walked other way, where's Jodha Focus on the bottle of perfume spread out for her on stall.

"Ah"!. "Pardon me for my clumsiness"!.

The words were out in rush before a good scolding or major argument rise. Steadying herself, She look down at the fallen toys, then at the Men she coillide with. Bulky tall body, dusky skin rough look, thick long beard, Bow shaped Moustache, curly short hair, Black color tunic and trouser.

"That's alright"!

"You're not from here"!

Ask the girl straightily without hestitation, watching the tone of his voice, as well appearance the clothing and style was sucpicious in her opinion though his body language look like humble trader but his rough tough body posture was speaking opposite.

"From Mewat here to sell our good by participating in the fair"!

Smirking inwardly over his words, Picking up the bag, shoving all the toys in, she handed the bag back to him by rising from ground. Nodding at him in understanding, she greeted him then walk passed by him.

Clutching tightly over right wrist, in folded arms upto chest posture. Where a dagger was held under saffron color tunic sleeve sleeve the person turned towards the doorway, poised to attack. But sight of Bulky well built Men. Made situation tough , he was built like a bull with the lightness of a wild beast in his movements. It was a lethal combination, as it meant that he could match swiftness and strength but the wit of person was yet to tested.

"Cat got your tongue?"

he growled, when he received no reply or sign of replying. Not enticing now. Menacing He lifted the sword and lowered it to his left hand, running the tip of his finger lazily over the sharp edge. Untill Blood trickled down from his palm. Grabbing chance of stare on bleeding palm the men approach forward leapord speed.

"Enough of silence"! You will has to answer me now"!

his warm breath washed over his opponent face, Distracting them by close proximity, he was more breathtaking. His shoulder length hair was plastered to his face in wet curls. His features were sharp and aristocratic bronzed skin strong throat, dark eyes, a straight nose, lips with just enough fullness in them to make them look appealing.

"Look up at me"!

No word not even twitch of muscle move was made, as both stared at each other appearance they hasn't started into each other eyes, but they has made quick judgment about each other looks.

"Dress aren't enough to deceive me"! Tell me who are you women"!..

That's it, this caught her attention as she stared up straight into his eyes, earning a gasp from him. Both stared into each other eyes to stunned to speak or react in anyway. She hasn't wore a single jewel her hair were well tucked under the turban, her skin color cannot be hindrances either, her dress pose was fine to no one ever Gets to caught her reality when she's in disguise , then how did he"? Was the only question in her mind, she has never look into the eye of men, unless they're about to die at her hands, but when she stared up match the soul piercing gaze, look into his deep dark black eyes she forget all, strange restlessness grip her heart which has become mere pumping organ in body. Thunder struck made her get grip on herself, as flashes of People dying infront of her at hands of enemies, scream of women's scream as they jump in fire to gave up on life to protect their Honor. Made her eyes fill with rage as she whispered coldly staring deep into his eyes.

"Your death"!..

A blow on rib ,made him stumbled back on foot, she drew her dagger out targeting his neck before he could steady himself, gasping for breath he stared at her with widened gaze. No one has ever caught him of guard like she did, she's holding his sword against him, if he dard to take it off her hand will blow his neck through dagger, if he didn't his own sword will carry on the task to end his life. Lord when did she grab it"? Perhaps the moment you were lost staring at her"! Chided his brain as he stare hard at her.

"Won't you like to know the victim's identity"! before taking their life"?

"I don't waste time in non-important issue"!.

Someone else on his place would've been dead by now, but Clutching the sword against him more tightly, like it's part of her body, she herself didn't know why she's isn't able to make move. Perhaps waiting for some befitting step of him in regards of her action but he was silently standing looking at her.

"Once dead never dies"! "You killed me by gaze what's there to take through weapon"?...

"Amusing stuff"! "To bad it doesn't pleased me"!

"What will"?..

The question comes as meaningful she Gets caught off guard, but compose herself sooner then he anticipated. A failed smirk appear on his face as he look up with grim smile, "a sight to behold"!. He knew his escake lies in her distraction but his wit failed infront of her, she's isn't acknowledging his words the way he wants.

"Your pain"!.

Saying this she thurst the sword forward but it didn't pass through his tummy, to her surprise it's get stop by metal thing. She stare up at him, who Smirkingly push the sword aside, making her drew her arm around to slice his throat by her dagger but he kick on the knee of her foot making her fall back over the wall side. Glaring at him she steady herself then with charging motion tuen around in rage, then approach him to attack on him, but he started retreating backword she Target his head by her dagger, he dodge it by bending aside the dagger get's stuck on the wall of hut behind him. Throwing impressed smile on her way kick on the Wooden stick laying on ground. Making it jump up-word and caughting it in mid air he started fighting with her through the wood. Though foolish idea it was because the wood wasn't matchable to The swing of hard sharp sword which was aggressively charging over him. But to fight you need courage and to win you need strategy. He had both within minute both were out of hut fighting with each other when one hard blow made his wood broke into two part he glared at them but instead of throwing them he started attacking back on her with both using it as sword to attack and shield to defend.

"Veer"!.."Radha"!.

Both fall on ground as her foot stumbles on Rock and he gets distracted by the voice, which she took advantage and kick him on tummy by foot making him fall back on ground. Both stared at left and saw A girl and Boy approaching them both were concern and extremely curious. Both reach near Jodha Jalal and help them to get up from ground, her turban fall from her head as well which left her hair open, as they blow in the rhythm of air. Both avoided to look at each other but Jalal can't help sneak glance at her.

"Are you ok"?

"She wound me badly"!

"He's an Impersonator"!

Both speak out loud snapping each other's attention on themselves. Kanika frown at Jodha's word, where's Aziz condition was no different he to stared at her. Then back at Jalal what he mean by she wound him"? Sure he loom injured but not enough to whin like kid. What did he do to get caught by her"?. Where's Kanika was thinking same what Jodha mean by he's Impersonator"? Didn't she made it clear Young Mughal prince is coming"? Did she changed her plans to kill him"? Is she planning to hide her identity from him to know his intention before she kills him"? So msny query but no answer.

"If I'm Impersonator you're cheater"! Dressed as lad to cheat on innocent men like us"! But guess what you fieget to get rid of femine Fragrance

"Innocent and you"? What a joke"! In heat of showing off your power you forget the limit of common folk's pain tolerance of pain"!

Both reveal how they caught each other's identity, it was clear both made mistakes but what surprised their partner was how they're conversing without looking at each other. It was so unlike Them but they didn't said anything, they didn't get chance to ask either as it's started raining heavily , without wird to protect themselves from the cold rain, all of them immidately rush inside the hut where. In process get little wet but didn't cared.
