I was going through some articles when I landed upon a blog write up about Parents and Children

It was by a parent who was saying that Privacy for writing a diary or talking with a friend isnt for children

That they shouldnt write diaries as the parents will read them as its their right to do that. And nothing is personal or anything

Damn this is so sick. Every human has their own privacy and I for once will feel humiliated if someone reads my personal diary

Thinking matters here Alexia. Some parents give their children a pen and a paper to Penn down their thoughts which they can't spell out and some doesn't even want their children to hold the pen itself. Same time, some children misuse their parents love and privacy given to them and some children can't get that privilege to openly share their thoughts and emotions. World has divided people into two rationally some can flap their wings and fly high and some can't even dare to dream of flying... Toh, our country is independent and everyone has got freedom of speech but still we aren't independent in many cases. This is because of our youth. Youth has given the responsibility to change the social norms and country but they seem least interested. Some have guts to change the world but didn't got a chance to explore whereas some youth have given numerous chances but they misuse it. There's no harmony and peace amidst in this democratic world..!!!

They said they agree with the author and its how parenting works because if the children are giving this so called privacy they become jerks and are of bad behaviour

They arent allowed any privacy and that their mobiles are always checked and the journals and diaries are read regularly

And also their parents dont allow them to wear short clothes and they should wear it according to them as its their house

Privacy and Freedom is not an optional to anyone. It's the right of every individual. Actually none has the right to snatch those rights from them. But the question is Why they even fear to give children their rights????

I agree youth does have that but not giving privacy is even worse Shaheen

I will feel humilating if anyone goes through my diary and reads my most intimate thoughts

Think of those children who have some issues and are just in their teens and think diary is that only one thing where they can say everything you are snatching that one thing which keeps them sane

I cant agree to take someone's privacy for parenting

They think its an privilege which the children shouldnt have as they will get spoiled

I will tell you one incident which I witnessed. There's a girl who's parents love her a lot and gave every possible freedom she can adore. She was 14 and likes to write poetry. Her father gave her a freedom to cherish her dreams and become good poet of the century. Her parents never used to check what she is writing but used to mesmerize her interest and will as a writer... When she turned 22, when her parents decided to get her marry on her will. She agreed with full happiness but she eloped on the marriage day leaving her parents embarrassed. When they check the dairy, it's not the poetry but the messages she used to pass the boy without knowing anyone in poetic form. At last, the girl died as the boy cheated her. She committed suicide. Her mother died thinking of her Daughter's demise in the next three days....

I agree to this that sometimes its wrong but reading someone's diary even if this happens is something I cant agree to

I am not agreeing with the fact that it's good and correct someone's diary. It's absolutely doesn't set with my principles too. It's incorrect and can't be justify in any regards. I am just saying that how some of our youth misuse their freedom and how someone who wanna explore goodness can't get that freedom due to some cases like this. Have you heard about the fact, that one black dot can take away the essence of full white paper. That's exactly what I am saying due to these few cases, our parents can't trust their own children. It's really sadistic even to say. There's no mutual understanding between parents and children these days re....

If that parent had any past experience with such a problem then maybe I would have understood her perspective but then even with this I dont agree to take away someone's freedom

You know my younger sister right, children like her need privacy of a diary because without that they bottle up their emotions and then it hurts them only

I completely agree with you here... Sadistically, though our nation is independent but many of us didn't get that freedom yet. I wonder when we can cherish it fully and safely.. Now, living a day itself has became a by chance...!! See, how intentional and cruel this Universe has turned where people are forced to sabotage their thoughts. This is something which I can digest.

I dont understand why people dont understand that if we need to make this universe better then giving freedom is the first thing
