no movie has hit me as hard as Article 15

I love that movie even though I have no knowledge about the caste system but it was an amazing movie.

I loved it too. So hard-hitting and gritty and realistic, without pandering to popular cliches.

In fact, I liked Anubhav Sinha's last 3 films a lot.

Mulk - Religious indoctrination

Thappad - Gender Politics

Article 15 - The best of them all, the brutalities played out in the name of cast

The music was really good too. Some people say its similar to CP episodes but I don't think so. Its much better

It was a good film but I don’t understand what was the need to change the caste of the perpetrators 🤷🏽‍♀️

So true... In badaun case it was found that the perpetrators were Yadav and the victims Shakya Maurya both OBC.. The initial reports of the victim being Dalits were factually incorrect..

Having said that, the caste angle is present in some rape cases, especially in rural areas.. But it wasn't present in the case the movie was purportedly based on... The investigating agencies bungled and a lot of other dirty things did take place...
