Sahi kaha thoda logic and real stats use karle writers as far as I know bahut time lagta hai to become a Major and I guess no one becomes a major at the age of 25 ,one can be a Captain in army at age of 25 . Agar itni kam age. (I e. If they show 25 years) mein Shravan ko As Major bata rahe hai tab toh bahut ajeeb lagega usko As you said 27-28 years thik hai ..because he will seem to be mature and experienced enough in army to become a Major.

because jaha tak Mujeh Patah hai you can selected in NDA or IMA (min.age required is 16-17 ) after NDA( 4 -4.5 years study in NDA) a cadet becomes leiutenant (lt.) uske baad after 4-5 years of service as Lt. After that one is ranked as Captain usmein min. 5-6 years service as Captain and after that one can become Major (I e. One age is almost 27-28 ) .

So I guess atleast writers should show 26-27 age of leads .

we had this discussion yesterday and someone who did all the research said it’s possible to be Major at 25 if he joins NDA just after his 12th

I agree. Joining from the medical route will give her a leeway of sorts. Or else she'll be stuck in graduation. No harm but we'd want our story to move ahead.

You can be commissioned as a Major after 4-6 years of service, which I think starts after you complete your training of 4 years at NDA. So minimally you'll have to have 8 years in hand. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Which can still work. They can show him being conferred with the position at the start or as a brilliant exception.

Suman's becomes the easiest this way. The graduation route for ladies would've set her a few years and ranks back. Whereas a medical cadet passing out from AFMC (5.5 yrs) gets the rank of a Lieutenant and then as early as 1 year can be promoted to the next which is a captain in the army.

NDA mein atleast 4 years ka study hota hai.one can join NDA at age of 16-17 that is right after 12th.

So after 4 years one becomes lt.after becoming lt. One has to serve for atleast another 4-5 years uske baad Captain rank aata hai.usmein bhi 5-6 years service chahiye tab uske baad Major bante hai.(it's required promotion rule ) .(all this I have heard it from my friends who are preparing for NDA or IMA and CDS)

agar koi at age of 25 years Major banta hai toh may be possibility hai ki uss ne direct Captain course kiya ho while studying in NDA .Then their is a possibility that a person becomes Major at early age ( I will have to ask about it to my friends)

Or may be articles are wrong and we taking a 10 yr leap... its not from official right?
