While our society (and hence Bollywood as well) is clearly patriarchal, I don’t understand its reference here when 5/6 people who have been arrested and whose bail application has been rejected are men.

Can you imagine BW linking this case to patriarchy, when both men and women are involved here. Also that industry has thrived on selling stereotypes, making misogynistic movies and objectifying women all throughput their lives. Why not set that in order first.
