When King Iravan requested marriage right before sacrificing his life in the Mahabharata war, no woman stepped forward to marry a doomed man.

Sri Krishna uniquely transformed into the stunning celestial nymph Mohini, married him for one night, and even wept inconsolably as a grieving widow after his sacrifice.
