She has been arrested for procuring weed for her boyfriend, which is wrong I agree, but since when has NCB started arresting people for 50 grams marijuana? If that would have been the case then half of India would have been in jail.

I am not saying she is a saint, but what she has been accused of, people in India have done way worse and walked away freely. And the reason why she has been such an easy scapegoat is because of the patriarchal mindset- where an independent, modern woman in a live in relationship with her more successful boyfriend is looked upon as a gold digger witch.

IMO, this arrest has less to do with "upholding the law" and more to do with appeasing the people. Murder nahi, money laundering nahi, abetment nahi toh marijuana sahi. If its upholding the law, then start performing raids on bollywood, politicians, all the saadhus and start taking them into custody for not just marijuana but many other drugs. But that wont happen.

Thank you for wording it better! 👍👏👏

I don't know how patriarchal society or feminism comes into the play, if people do wrong then they should be punished but the amount of misinformation which is being conveyed by the media on television and people here all the time is sickening to be honest

Rhea is in "Judicial Custody" for 14 days, Did NCB ask for Police remand? No

Judicial Custody means now CBI and ED need permission of Magistrate to interrogate Rhea

Did they find drugs or money used to purchase drugs from Rhea's house? No

Is this drug case linked to SSR death case? No

Sanjay Dutt's biopic is all about him doing drugs, why not arrest him?

Kangana said she was a drug addict, why not arrest her?

Bold: kyun ye criminal activity nai...is she being arrested under something that's not a criminal activity for rest of the country but only for her?

I'm not questioning or accusing Rhea. I'm speaking about the convinient feminism being portrayed by Bollywood. She has been arrested for procuring drugs which is a criminal activity acc to IPC but here you question why because aise toh sab rakhte hai itne amount. Crime in any form should be intolerable for a better tomorrow and safer society.

@Bold.. feels like that😆

How convenient it is that suddenly NCB has woken up and is working so hard for upholding justice. Where was this determination at the time of Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt? As someone pointed, Kangana was a drug addict, arrest her too.

I will believe this arrest was truly a justice prevailing one , when they clear all their backlog and start punishing people guilty of doing much much more

Equal treatment is the reason for asking law to take its course. The very nature of the complaint should have been called out for patriarchy but doesn’t excuse the calling out.

Haven’t seen the calls to release Rhea because she is a woman. That would be pseudo feminism. But talking about it because men haven’t been subject to the same justice is shout for feminism and calling out the patriarchy.

No amount of caps writing will erase that :-)

You calling my point BOGUS won't make it so☺️. It becomes a point of argument when the person in front of us won't accept the right even after realising it.

I use caps for pointing out n would continue to do so.

:-)) That is why it is bogus. Couldn’t help but provide the two cents on the maligning of feminism in this case of convenience.

Please continue...

Is she???? If so I'd want everyone punished, I've always done my bit even in real world. I'd honestly want this arrest to be a new morning for drug abuse. We should be intolerable to drug abuse.

U: they all deserve the same treatment for drug abuse as by the IPC.

Also I don't think MB called him bipolar. It was the brother that gave an interview saying SSR was not well

There is no evidence against Rhea being a Gold digger/Manipulator/Murderer and also there is no evidence against Sushant being a Molestor/Drug addict.

We were criticizing Media/Sushant's sisters for blaming her without any evidence but we will believe the blind items and everything written against him without evidence. Wow!
