And all these people are biggest supporters of patriarchy but they themselves don’t know this partly due to their conditioning, partly due to their ignorance, and mostly due to their idiocy.

Yeah, and I loved how you pointed that they are even color blind 🤦

Exactly my point, ITS ABOUT CONVENIENCE

It'll just take the main agenda decades back 💔

We can’t use the “Where were you when ‘‘tis was happening “ argument to nullify what’s happening today and the response to it. Pseudo feminism would have been to boycott the effort to move the case to the agencies. The vilification and the parade of injustice over gms definitely takes the agenda decades back. Anytime they spoke up, would have been a dissent for the dead. I am glad the conscience opened up at least now. If these powerful men and women cannot speak up for being spared the wrath of online mob justice. How does the common woman deal with it?

I guess, TM is pointing towards Bollywood's hypocrisy for using Feminism here when the same Bollywood didn't occur a word against two men 'Salman' and 'Sooraj' who also were responsible for someone's deaths.

Rest, I do believe, this case has nothing to do with feminism, not at all. When people use gender card in the cases where it's not needed , it's like misusing such concepts to a level that people start disregarding even the real issues where women actually face problems because of gender.

She is a woman so this is patriarchy like seriously Bhai she has been probed by NCB and its not a joke. In every issue apni agenda gusana hai logon ko

Why can't we say where were you?

#justice for what? For being a suspect? For questioning related to drugs that her brother was also a part of?

I'll continue saying the same thing...

Asking for law to take its course and then bashing the same law when it took its course .just because its against someone they support is HYPOCRISY

Pseudo Feminism is also wanting things to be for convinience n not equal.

EQUAL TREATMENT is feminism- PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT is pseudo feminism

This where were you chant is bogus because it stops being a discussion and becomes a point of argument.
Equal treatment is the reason for asking law to take its course. The very nature of the complaint should have been called out for patriarchy but doesn’t excuse the calling out.

Haven’t seen the calls to release Rhea because she is a woman. That would be pseudo feminism. But talking about it because men haven’t been subject to the same justice is shout for feminism and calling out the patriarchy.

No amount of caps writing will erase that :-)

I am all for upholding the law but in this case in particular, it is clear that the agencies have tried VERY hard to find something to pin on her. Moreso because she was already guilty in the eyes of the majority(because of the patriarchal mindset).

She has been arrested for procuring weed for her boyfriend, which is wrong I agree, but since when has NCB started arresting people for 50 grams marijuana? If that would have been the case then half of India would have been in jail.

I am not saying she is a saint, but what she has been accused of, people in India have done way worse and walked away freely. And the reason why she has been such an easy scapegoat is because of the patriarchal mindset- where an independent, modern woman in a live in relationship with her more successful boyfriend is looked upon as a gold digger witch.

IMO, this arrest has less to do with "upholding the law" and more to do with appeasing the people. Murder nahi, money laundering nahi, abetment nahi toh marijuana sahi. If its upholding the law, then start performing raids on bollywood, politicians, all the saadhus and start taking them into custody for not just marijuana but many other drugs. But that wont happen.
