bold:Normally, society's mentality as represented by Varsha/Jazz(while dispensing advice to Kuhu), is that a kid strengthens the marriage by tying the husband to the wife and securing the daughter-in-law's position in the sasural in a joint family(as was the case with Sonakshi and now, Mishti). Which is a flawed concept but sadly, most people still believe it. A lot of couples realise the reality later and have to undergo messy custody battles, especially these days when women are more resolved to take a stand(else they used to compromise and tolerate the situation ki kahan jayenge).

This logic will be just as erroneous in MishKu's situation. Neither is gonna be happy unless Kuhu accepts that genetically the kid doesn't belong to her. A lot of sisters give a kid away to their infertile sisters and maybe it works but I'm very skeptical here. This isn't Mahabharat where Abhimanyu is Draupadi's favourite son.

@underlined:I'm still hoping no bachha comes out of this bachha track, through whatever way. I'm not against MishBir having a kid on principle, but as a viewer and fan, I'm against shifting the focus from my star couple. Surrogacy means Kuhu drama, remarriage means third angle drama, and adoption means some cute but annoying bachha will come and steal the limelight and I only want to enjoy young, youthful Abir.

Coming to MishBir, since it is their story, it is upto them how do they want to have kids and when. I also got the feeling that Mishti was feeling pressurised but I felt that she did get genuinely excited about the prospect later. Her misgivings stemmed from insecurities on making a good mother. When BM spoke to her about the difference between pregnancy and motherhood, she was very relieved. She took the reins to pressurise/seduce Abir after that.

I think if Meenu lets them, all round discussions on adoption will be their next step too. But Meenu won't, so adoption is out of the picture. The whole bachha drama is out of MishBir's hands now. It has become Meenu's pet project and obsession. Otherwise, Abir would have stopped it by now and fulfilled your wish.

Mein toh pura episode Rhea ko hi dekhte rahi. Kinne soni lag rahi thi 😍😍😍 . Dis whole second season she is looking elegant n classy.
