Dream of own office about to be broken: Kangana Ranaut after BMC inspects her Mumbai office, plans demolition

As her tussle with the Maharashtra government continues, actress Kangana Ranaut on Monday took to Twitter to share videos of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials conducting a raid at her office premises, adding they may demolish the property.

As the war of words between the Maharashtra government and Kangana Ranaut continued, the actress on Monday alleged that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) raided her office in Mumbai in a bid to exact 'revenge' from her.

Taking to Twitter, Kangana Ranaut claimed that a few officials from the BMC visited her office in upscale Bandra's Pali Naka area and started conducting an inspection on the premises.

Staff from the H West BMC office raided her office, which is currently under renovation.

Sharing a video of a magazine shoot at her office, Kangana Ranaut wrote, "This is the office of Manikarnika Films in Mumbai. I built it after 15 years of hardwork. I had only one dream in life that when I become a film producer, I should have my own office. But it looks like my dream is about to be broken. All of a sudden, BMC officials descended on my office today."

She also alleged that the BMC officials harassed her neighbours and when they were questioned said that the raid was happening because "woh jo madam hai uski kartoot ka parinam sabko bharna hoga (Everyone will have to pay for the antics of Kangana Ranaut)"

Sharing videos of the BMC inspection, Kangana Ranaut also claimed that the municipal body will be demolishing her office tomorrow despite her having all required permissions.

"I have all the papers, BMC permissions nothing has been done illegal in my property, BMC should send a structure plan to show the illegal construction with a notice, today they raided my place and without any notice tomorrow they demolishing entire structure," she tweeted.

The BMC is yet to release any statement on the inspection or the purported demolition.

A controversy erupted when Kangana Ranaut had said she felt unsafe in Mumbai after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and compared the city to Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

Her comments led to a spat with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who said she shouldn't come to Mumbai if she feels unsafe.

As the row escalated, Kangana Ranaut announced that she will be reaching Mumbai on September 9. On Monday, the Union Home Ministry gave her Y-plus category security and said she will be protected by about 10 armed commandos.

Kangu has started gaslighting as usual. BMC can't and won't demolish any structure as long as it's legal.

Sena is using the same tricks as the BJP which keeps raiding people that they want to harass.

Forget illegal construction. They need to investigate the origin of her money and how she's building these homes and offices based on her low income from her flop movies.

Exactly, the first thought came to my mind after reading the article and the location of the building. What is the source of the money invested?

If Kangana has done illegal construction and the building is not safe, then they will demolish it or would not allow anyone inside the premises. If Kangana's office is in residential area, then the office might get sealed. In many places offices are not allowed in residential areas.

You need enforcement directorate and income tax officials to raid Kangana together to search for her source of income and disproportionate assets against her income. It will happen soon.

But she should not worry, if she has not done anything illegal.

This might be the legal route Shiv Sena is taking to shut up her up. Raid properties, finds a loophole, jail ke andar. But suddenly, after a feud with her, her property is illegal? LOL. Subtlety, thy name is not Shiv Sena.

This reminds me of the IT raid on BMC courtesy BJP after tensions between them were at its peak.Matlab jiske upar chao raid lagado according to the status of the relationship smiley36

Kangana's life in Mumbai clearly won't be smooth for a while. I mean,Shiv Sena can fasao her in any case now but she has BJP on her side so we'll see. This is unfolding like a cheap political special on Netflix 😆
