Here is the thing, I personally have believed since the beginning that he did die of suicide. I think this relationship destroyed him emotionally, mentally, physically and financially. Unfortunately in this country abuse isn't taken as seriously when it comes to it being a crime. Even in instances where women are victims of abuse, men get away. One of the reasons I have focused on the financial angle is because of this. A money trail is something that is tangible in the sense you can see a physical evidence of it. This girl is not stupid so of course there are no direct tranfers here. There are though direct tranfers to her brother's account. There is enough out there that shows she was fully in charge of his finances. Her and her family were mooching off him and the bank statements would show that since her expenses were being paid through his account. But like you said that's not a crime. Which is why the text regarding the card pin becomes important. The agencies would have to rely on these circumstantial evidences. Which is why it becomes important to also note that Sushant just a couple of weeks before his passing wanted to change his account details.

They need to dig deep into the financial aspect here. There was some news about her getting a certain amount from Kwan. That needs to be looked into.

There's another reason why I feel they need to probe this angle more is because I feel these people can get away under the "drug angle". Hell they are already blaming a dead person for consuming and procuring whatever they were. Even if she is arrested under that, she will be able to get bail quickly.

I really hope his family gets justice. But I'm also a little wary of how much concrete evidences exist. There's no doubt here in my view that Sushant's life ended up being cut short because he was a victim of an abusive relationship. I just wish this country took that term seriously....period.

I agree to that from the beginning I have suspected this to be a suicide brought upon by this emotional/ mental abuse; the dependency that he had on her which is really inexplicable given that they were dating for a short time.

She has a bad rep around the industry, given the people who are supporting her (the smart/ classy ones are staying away), and she found a gem like sushant, who took her at face value. She was a user and it’s so suspect that it was during lockdown, when people tend to be more vulnerable, she ditched him.

It breaks my heart that Mumbai Police played a part in delaying justice, and giving criminals a chance to clean up their act. Sushant and his family don’t deserve that at all.

That said, I think the money he gave to Showik, then Kwan, will all taken into account, and will be used as supplementary information to build the case. That alone may not be sufficient to prove abetment since it’s a very hard crime to prove. So, the focus on drug angle makes sense....given the strict drug laws in India. Thanks to Mumbai Police, now other officials have a lot of pressure to ensure sushant gets justice. So, I think that they will focus on the drug aspect, then bring in the prescription medications, the change of multiple doctors etc, and then use the financial angle to build the case.
