BJP minister seeks protection for Kangana

The political row over Kangana Ranaut's tweet likening Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir -- for which she has been threatened by Shiv Sena leaders -- heated up further today when Anil Vij, Home Minister in BJP-led Haryana government, sought police protection for the actor.

"Kangana Ranaut should be given police protection. She should be allowed to make revelations freely (in the Sushant Singh Rajput case)," Haryana Minister Anil Vij said seemingly endorsing the "freedom of speech" stance taken by Amruta Fadnavis, wife of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis.

Vij's request to "protect" the actor comes a day after Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik said Ranaut should be booked for sedition and that his colleague Sanjay Raut's suggestion -- of Shiv Sena women members slapping the actor if she flew into Mumbai on September 9 -- were mild.

In response to his comment the chief of National Commission for Women, Rekha Sharma, demanded that Sarnaik be arrested.

Ranaut has been constantly attacking the Congress-Shiv Sena-NCP government in Maharashtra, the Mumbai Police and Bollywood over the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput for weeks now.

Crores worth property was looted in different states..huge processions were taken out and bounty was put on Deepika's head.She didn't ask for protection. Nor did anyone else.

when the statement comes in the public domain then it became official, no need for official paper and signature .....

so many people face defamation cases due to their statement and I think they never gave these statement on official paper

Official statement dene mein kya problem hai? She claims to have proof she can submit those proofs with her official statement. Will only help the investigation in my opinion. Don't understand the reasons for not giving one though.

Ye kya nautanki hai re baba. There are so many women dying on the streets but unke safetly ka koi nahi pooch raha but here this filth spewing, self destructing woman needs to be protected at the cost of the state? Isn’t she a gigastar? Why can’t she hire private protection if she thinks her life is on such a threat?

Sanjay raut jaise log galiya dene main busy hai usse better hai kangu se evidence maange aur puche kis kis ke khilaaf evidence hai 😆
