The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, is a very strict law. The agency is even faster. They always know who is peddling drugs and where drugs are changing hands. In Delhi, they appear in flash if they doubt drug dealing is about to happen.

Arrests are quicker and it is a cognizable ( arrest without warrant and start investigation without the permission of court) non-bailable offence with imprisonment from 1 to 30 years. As these people were using the drugs for commercial purpose( peddling), the rules are much sticker.

I had to learn this law along with some section due to my work.

I read the news from the above link. Where there are quotes from NCB officials where they have not mentioned for whom he was procuring drugs. Is there any news or quotes from officials where they have mentioned about the same?

There is news going around that Showik and Samuel both have taken Rhea name. Samuel said he mixed drugs in SSR water and food on Rhea's orders while Showik said he purchased it on her orders.
