Why Riddhima's emotions dont appeal? - Page 2

i think itz because of her dialogue writer..
i dnt think it has anything to do with her acting
or unsucessful characterisation..or her jus memorising
dialogues and not feeling them...i think even though
she cannot speak hindi well she is still taking the
dialogues seriously..otherwise she would av been
like..oh i can't say this or that word properly bt
it doesn't matter..ppl no tht i can't speak hindi
very well anyway so it doesn't matter.!
i think she is an excellent actress..with a lot of
versatality nd she brings her fictional character
an exisitance i don't think i can imagine any one else
playing riddhima..and that too so fondly and good..

itz kinda weird that everyone is criticising her acting
and speech all of a sudden and now..i mean wouldn't
it have been picked on ages ago wen the show actually
started? no offence to ny1 hu reads this im jus sharing
my opinion..i think that ppl are taking the character of
riddhima abit too seriously and are now bashing shilpa
bcz of riddhima's confusing ways and upsetting armaan..

i jus wnaa put my point across that at the end of the
daii dmg is jus a programme of ficitonal characters
and stories...the actors just play them as its their
job..lol..so basically wa im tryin to say is that
please don't hate shilpa jus because of riddhima'z
actions and behaviour in the show 😊

I think she's just fine the way she is. There's nothing wrong with her acting.

lol i agree with u totally on the fact that you shouldnt hate an actor because of the character they play on screen and the fact that its actually the characters that are doing things that dont appeal. Gosh- i wasnt implying that at all! far from it.

First thing I dont 'hate' anyone. Secondly, even if the character is confused- there is a way for an actor to portray that confusion. I personally dont feel shes able to convey that very confusion in a convincing way. The confusion has been put in by the creatives. The WAY she portrays the confusion is up to her is it not? In the same way, when she cries- the creatives tell her to shed tears but the WAY its done is upto her. I feel whenever she cries it doesnt seem real because I cant see the sadness in her eyes unlike armaans- EXCEPT on the confession day when I too was very happy with her crying and acting.

K last thing...There have been a lot of riddhima bashing posts recently and im not appreciative at all because they dont really have a justification. I was merely trying to pinpoint why people may/may not relate to her emotions and whether it has anything to do with the way she does it as an actress AS OPPOSED to whether they just hate her because she's pushed their favourite armaan to madness as the character Riddhima. Oh and my particular dislike for her acting has been there for ages- its definitely not recent.

hmmm....i can't stand ridhimma....but i do like shilpa....i think shes improving loads as an actress, and she plays ridhimmas character veryy well....its just i cannot standdddddddddddddd the character!!!

umm well my opinion is, i dunno if Shilpa is actually portraying them like that as she thinks they are right or the directors are not guiding her... I agree she's playing the same character all the time so expression has to be same all the time but everyone has emotions and not always stay blank with the eyes popping out... but I think if the directors help her a little and give her more realistic and character like dialogs and facial expressions then she will be fine. Though she's great now as well but sometimes when she's acting with others like Karan or Pankit, then some of her emotion's just don't appeal and always the same. 😊

i love her expressions ...... 😛 😛 i love rids 😛 n i love shilpa too 😛 😛 😛 n thars why i have voted fr the last option. 😛 😛 😛
