she got work after ages and post her drama yesterday the producers had spoken against her for her attitude and now she says she is quitting, I feel she has been shown the door by the makers
Would prefer if we donât bring up topics on religion or politics in as strong terms here since this is not the space for that. Personally, I donât think there has been any âgrossâ or lesser than gross mismanagement nor is the Finance Minister turning a joke and it doesnât take rocket science to know that COVID is a Force Majuere event. The entire world is reeling under what caught all (but China) unawares. Very disappointed this time with govt. And one cant blame everything on covid. There has been gross mismanagement.

Economies world over have been impacted by the steep fall in demand and the cycle that follows will impact all sectors across the board. India is no exception. Any countryâs COVID management is a sticky deal largely dependent on citizen behavior and enforcement and citizen response to enforcement. In my emirate in UAE for example I will be slapped with an AED 500/- ( Rs 12,500/-) fine if I donât wear a mask or an AED 10,000/- (2.5 lac) fine if I visit a home. Otherwise it would be jail and/or deportation even perhaps. Naturally nobody dares to break the rules. At the same time, nearby states are a bit softer on enforcement and the outcome is directly proportional to citizen laxity.
How will India react if a 2.5 lac fine was slapped on our people? India is a highly reactive, volatile and democratic state with liberals shouting treason in the name of FOE. There are limitations to what the central govt can do if state govts donât use their machinery effectively. Itâs Catch 22 now. A lockdown means total slump and 4.0 could mean more contagion. Is there a middle path? Not really, especially in a country as densely populated as India.
A second wave was predicted during fall- Sept-Oct as early as April. And we should be prepared for that. So again, I can understand the disappointment and frustration and how it affects us personally and professionally too (have been through it myself). But we can only stay safe ourselves, ensure all we are associated with too and thank god that there is no corruption or scams within this govt. I truly havenât forgotten the times the first page of every newspaper of India carried a new scam and a new cabinet minister corruption story every day. And I am ever thankful those days are over and hope those shall never come by again.
