Here’s the deal- if Alia really ever was as popular with the public as all the industry people liked to pretend she was, this controversy wouldn’t have affected her film or her “stardom” THIS much.

Many big stars were in controversies over the years and groups of people tried to get them boycotted and stuff but no matter what the controversy was, if the actor involved was truly a star- they managed to bounce back.

Alia hasn’t been able to do that because the fact of the matter is (regardless of what her father may or may not have said/done)- Alia’s stardom is completely manufactured.

Kudos to Alia for facing troll and insults of getting roles in platter by snatching it from others.

I hope she comes out with shining colors and snatches more roles.

I am sure she will make her reputed father prouder with this new innings like a new phase of her

There is a big difference between opening peoples eyes to nepotism/unfairness in the industry and trying to completely break a person, people have been trying to push Alia over the edge, can we even imagine what she must be going trough mentally?

Lest we forget when they all said it would make a more inclusive industry if Alia is excluded 😆😆

Exactly! These are the same people who mocked the problems faced by outsiders saying that “public can watch what they want”, “it’s not our fault public want to watch us”, etc. (acting like they haven’t deliberately snatched all the films with good stories we would want to watch)...

And now when most of the public have made the decision not to watch or support certain people’s films they are whining, ab kya chahiye lol 😂

You can’t force us to watch or like your films 🤷🏽‍♀️

there is a part of me that feels bad for Aloo subject to such media scrutiny, as it comes in the heels of Rishi’s death, and ofcourse Covid, which hasn’t been easy on anyone- rich/poor/nepo/ non-nepo.

But, Shaheen’s public note to Alia comes off craving public validation, since sadak2 was lowest rated on IMDb. The truth is that lowest/highest ratings on a OTT movie doesn’t make a difference to core Indian audience. As much as it pains me to say this, It didn’t make a difference to Dil Bechara either, cuz when it debuted on TV, it didn’t make the top ratings cut either.

The family seems to crave public approval, whilst wanting to do exactly as they please. They should lay low till public mood is better.

The industry should be for everyone, insiders and outsiders, everyone should get the opportunity to join. I do not understand why peole want it to just be outsiders and for all nepo kids to be thrown out, how does that make it a fairer industry? The goal should be to make it more equal, for outsiders to also get the same opportunities insiders get, the goal shouldn't be to stop certain people from fulfilling their dreams just because their parents are from the industry

How lame and Alia posted it on her insta, why cant u just give ur sis the letter instead of shoving it down our throats

I have heard that Sadak 2 is a very bad movie...and would have failed regardless...

But the thing is that I would not judge a movie at this time by its likes/dislikes or the IMDB ratigs which are all being done due to lot of emotions/hatred/love etc etc...

The outsiders of today will have nepo kids of tomorrow....do people expect Anushka to stop her child's dream of becoming an actor or Deepu-Veeru or Akki or SRK to not care about their child's dream....people are rooting for Tripti...do they think that Tripti when she has a kid would not support her kid...😆
