Raman was in car he closed his eyes but ishitas sas face came infront of him he thought not to think about her as he is not good for her she have just started her life while he have spend his half life he can't betray Sneha ishita is nothing to him he was thinking how he is feeling pull towards ishita he was sure ishita have feeling for him he decided to make her hate him he got idea he decided to visit her when she will enter in nine month not in between so she will hate him days started passing in starting ishita used ti feel sad lonely but shanti aunty and her husband were taking care of her like their daughter ishita was learning cooking and gardening from them she went for her first monthly check up doctor said everything is good baby growth is fine sh made ishita listen heartbeat of baby ishita called raman and shared with him loved ishitas irritation ishita conviced raman to do job raman was happy hearing her happy voice

Part 12

Raman thought for a while then said

" though I don't want you to work, but still I m allowing you only if you promise to be careful .ishita got happy listening to this, she smiled widely and said " thankyou thankyou ,thankyou somuch Mr bhalla ,you are best ."

Raman too smiled knowing that she is happy , he then rold take care to her and was about to hung the call but stopped listening to ishita saying something .

R- did you said something.?

I- (bit nervously)-humm ,actually wanna ask, aap kab aa rahein hain .

R(bit hesitantly)- actually ishita wo main aana chahta hoon ,but you know how busy I m. I have a qhole business to take care of and now at this point of time ,I m kind of stuck in some important work ,so it seems..

I- that you can't come.

R- humm actually something like that .

I- koi baat nahi ,aap apna kaam katam karke phir aana ,waise bhi these people are taking good care of mine.

R- actually ishita ,I wanna say that I had to go to London for the current contract and havr to stay there for few months, so it seems I won't be able to visit you for some four to five months .

Ishita got sad listening to this but managed to say " its ok Mr bhalla ,work is important. Aap pana khyaal rakhiyega aur achche se kaam karna . And haan please ho sake to amma se ek baar mil lijiyega . Just do this for me and don't worry about me ,main theek hoon aur apna khyaal achche se rakhoongi .okay bye ,seems shanti amma is calling me ."

Saying so she hung thd call, Raman didn't like the way ,ishita has abruptly ended the call but he didn't call her further as it was getting difficult for him to tell further lie to her .He pocketed his phone went back to join his parents . Toshiji looked at him and asked " kiska phone tha ."

R- ishita ka .

T- kaisi hai wo ?.

R- she is good.

T- tu usse milne kab jaayega .

R- not now .

T- phir kab .

R- I will go directly at the time of her delivery .

T- tu pagal hai kya ,itne din use akela chod dega .

R- wo akeli nahi hai ma ,many peoples are there to take care of her .

T- lekin humme se to koi nahi hai na ,na hi uski ma aur na hi hum .

R- her mother herself is sick ,so evenif she will be there, she cannot help her anyway, aur hum bhi ishita ke liye utne hi stranger hai jitne ki wo log . So you don't need to worry about her .

T- ek to use itni door bhej diya ,doosre usse milne bhi nahi ja raha ,how can you be so stone hearted .

R- ma aap to usse sirf ek baar mile ho ,why are you somuch concerned about her .

T- iske do kaaran hai ,ek to wo mere pote ya poti ko janam dene ,doosra she is very beautiful and nice girl . Mujhe wo bahut pasand aayi ,kitni pyaari aur sidhi si hai .

R- achchi hai thats why I have chosen her but still I m not going ,maine usse kaha hai that I m going to london for few months , aapko bhi use kuch batane ki zaroorat nahi hai .

T- mujhe mat sikha mujhe kya karna hai .

R- ma ,don't you dare.

T- theek hai nahi bataaungi lekin ye to bata kya bol rahi thi wo .

Before he can tell anything more ,his phone beeped , informing that some message has been received. He took out his phone and found it was WhatsApp message from ishita . He opened his WhatsApp and downloaded the audio message which was not other than their baby's heartbeat sound . Raman played the audio and listened the baby's heartbeat , they all got overwhelmed to listen the tiny lub dub sound of heartbeat . Senior bhalla's and Raman ,the trio looked at each other , smiling fully while their eyes got filled with happy tears . Toshiji snatched the phone from Raman and hugged it tightly ,close to her heart . She took a deep breath and said

" aisa lagta hai ki is awaaz ko sun kar mere kaleje mein thandak pad gayi ."

Raman smiled seeing her reaction and said " its only a month old ma ,abhi to aapko bahut khusiyaan dekhni hai ."

Toshiji nodded and said " Puttar ishita ko phone mila ,mujhe usse baat karni hai , uska thankyou kahna hai."

R- arey ma ,abhi to baat ki maine , dekh rahe ho shaam ka time hai . Wo thaki hogi ,shaayad aaraam kar rahi hogi ,aap baad mein baat kar lena .

T- aisa kar tu mujhe uska phone number de de ,beech beech mein main usse baat karti rahungi ,use achcha lagega .

R- ok .

Saying so Raman gave ishita's number to toshiji . After that they had their dinner together and ended the day . Next day toshiji called ishita and thanked her . They had already bonded on their first meeting and after talking today, they had got more closer and started talking regularly .

Days started passing ,Raman has engrossed himself again on work ,while ishita too busied herself sothat she would think less about Raman ,still there was a tiny hope in her heart that he will come to meet her soon . She has jlined the school as english teacher ,half of her day goes in it ,rest of the day she spend in learning cooking and gardening with shanti amma and her husband . Then she read some good or some religious books for baby . She even talks to the baby in night and tell him/her things about Raman ,which she get to know about him from internet and news .

One day toshiji and ishita were talking , ishita wanted to know about Raman's whereabout but she never asked it from toshiji but she herself always tell about Raman's routine to ishita . It has been three months after ishra had talked ,Raman has stopped calling her with an excuse that he has gone to London while ishita too didn't called him thinking he is abroad .When they were talking, suddenly ishita listened Raman voice from background.He had returned early from office as toshiji was bit unwell today .He called his mother again

" Ma kahaan ho aap aur aapli tabiyat kaise hai ."

Ishita got shocked listening to this and asked " Aunty wo kya Mr bhalla hain ."

T- haan puttar Raman hi hai ,baat karegi usse .ruk abhi bulati hoon .

Though Raman had warned toshiji,not to tell anything about his fake plan of going abroad but she didn't know that he had already lied to ishita,so she innocently asked this . Ishita got shocked as well as sad listening to this , toshiji asked again but she couldn't manage to say anything . Till then Raman too had come to her room, before he could speak further, toshiji forwarded the phone to him and said

" puttar ishita hai ,tujhse baat karna chahti hai."

Raman got silent listening to this while tears started falling from ishita's eyes , knowing that he had said such big lie to her . Toshiji gave phone to Raman and went out leaving him to deal with ishita , he took the phone to his ears and was thinking how to clarify it.He was expecting that ishita would ask her many questions but for few minutes non spoke anything . But he can listen her sobbing while she was listening to his long breath, which indicated that both parties were still on line .

After much time ,he just manage to call her name " ishita ."

She still didn't spoke anything while he said again " ishita please stop crying ,listen to me ....

She interrupted him and spoke " no Mr bhalla you listen to me , agar aapko nahi aana tha to seedhe seedhe ye bol kar jaate ki main nahi aaunga why did you gave fake hope to ke and baby . Hum aapka intezaar kar rahe the ,rozraat ko main usko ye bol kar soti ki papa jaldi aayenge usse milne , but never thought you had been lying to me all these time . Aapne to waise hi clear kar diya tha that we are only bonded through contract aur maine maan bhi liya .aakhir main achche se apna aur baby ka khyaal rakh rahin hoon na ,ye bhi bata dete to jhoothi umeed to nahi hoti . Till now I was thinking that you just pretend to be cold but now I got to know that you are actually heartless. Thankyou for reminding me again and again that you are paying me for carrying your child . Ab aapko yahaan aane ki zaroorat nahi hai ,main delivery ke baad khud hi aapko aapka baby dene aa jaaungi . Aaj ke baad aapko meri chinta karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai ,I will be good ."

Saying so she hung the call while Raman was still standing like stone ,don't know what to do ,how to react . He wanted to apologise to her but he knew that apologising over phone is not enough because as she said ,he don't want to give her hopes . On the other hand ishita covered her face with her palm and cried her heart out .
