But the BMC was telling the other day that the CBI will be quarantined if they are to stay for more than 7 days, unless they seek the "exemption"..

Apart from the team of 4 that we already know, news are getting circulated that the "final" team could be 8-12 CBI members including their own forensic scientist.

I do trust CBI but I don't trust Maha government who is going around peddling lies that the SC didn't find any lapses in Mumbai Police's inquest and that Mumbai Police still can run a parallel investigation alongside CBI, despite SC's clear order otherwise.
