Tanhaji Premiered Last to Last week and registered TRP of 3.9 with #1 on Star Plus

With Dil Bechara breaking records online, why didn't it do good offline? Is it the disconnect between online and offline audience?

How do we connect this to Box office? Will it be a completely different game?

I am not surprised! 2.4 too seems too much for Dil Bechara considering it was an extremely ill made and highly depressing movie. The online viewing in Hotstar was just symbolic of showing support to SSR and may be to show anger against nepotism.

I for one tried watching it on Hotstar only for SSR as I was completely shattered hearing the news of his death, but still couldn’t watch the movie beyond 30 minutes or so.

True. It was a very poorly made movie. No wonder the makers threw it for OTT release. Even if it was released in the theaters, it would've been a flop.
