I just read an old article that he'd signed up for all his pre KMG films (except MKPD) before KHNP came out. So 1998-99. Having previously lost making his debut with Shekhar Kapur when he left to do Elizabeth I gather HR went a bit overboard signing movies.

While he was filming KMG he was still filming MDK and MKPD. HR said when his schedule came to KMG he'd book a hotel 2 days before to decompress and find Rohit as a character again.

No doubt it's why he only signs for one movie at a time now.

EWW. Both are fugly.
