Armys will promote the hell out of this by making edits and Tiktok challenges till everyone knows Dynamite exists 😆.
Saw this go viral on SCT, why are NRIs so stuck to the 90s/2000 Bollywood? Have seen it in curry pop culture too, most of the references are just limited to K3G/Dharma/Yrf films. Their way of seeing desi pop culture seems to have been stuck to the 90s/2000s when they probably migrated to videsh. I see that a lot in the Indian dressing sense too in the YT videos that go viral. Like even that Mindy Kaling show, I was watching this Ganesh Chaturthi clip on YT and thought the show was based in the 90s. Who dresses up like that anymore? Like Padma-Parvati from Harry Potter movies? 🤔😆

All Indian restaurants mostly keep playing 90s n 00s ka music. Its like they are stuck in that era. Hardly any good BW music these days though. 90s was known for their songs.
All the Indian American kids are made to dress up like Padma Pravati. 🤣 These meets are the only time for the ladies to showcase their new sarees, new jewelry they got back from India. Some aunties deck up like its their wedding day ,for the Diwali mela.

Yeah this was confirmed a while ago if I remember correctly .
Imtiaz Ali had honestly started losing me over the last few years. The magic felt diluted, the storytelling increasingly self-conscious. But...
