Who's your favourite onscreen character ever and why?

The topic title is self-explanatory 😌

I know that there are a lot of great characters out there but try sticking to one character as far as you can 😳

Mine is Arjun Anand (Barun Sobti) from Tu Hai Mera Sunday (I'd highly recommend this movie, do watch if you haven't, it's a beautiful, quirky, delicious little movie)

Here's the trailer - https://youtu.be/b1Q_r-2Y5R4

So even though Arjun is an escapist in his own way - just like the other 4 main characters of the film - he's the unifying factor of their group, the one who calms his friends in times of crisis. His compassion towards a random old man who has Alzheimer's that they bump into is endearing and he's just so charming when he tries impressing Kavya (Shahana Goswami) in the smallest of ways like carrying the menu cardboard to protect her from the rain or the coffee beans sequence ā¤ļø What I also like is that he's qualified and knows his professional avenues/capabilities but he chooses to do what he's actually happy doing, irrespective of money (which reminds me of Sushant). And that's depicted so beautifully in the film. He's a simple, adorable and sensitive guy who's easy to fall in love with, according to me.

What about you all? :)

Aisha Banerjee in Wake Up Sid. I love how goal-oriented, independent, and ambitious she is, and yet has a soft corner for a man-child like Ranbir's character. She is the perfect combination of modern millennial and old-school romanticāļø

Sunil from Kabhi Ha Kabhi Na

For not giving up after failures in professional and personal life, for moving on instead of crying over losing the woman he loved.

Aaaah, my favourite female character ever ā¤ Completely agree with you. Her journey with Sid is a beautiful one. His spontaneity and craziness is the exact dose that was needed in her life and these two blend with each other beautifully.
