Can an actress become numero uno with only one kind of roles?

There are two kinds of actresses: those who excel in flowerpot roles(Katrina, Shraddha and now Disha seems to be emerging there too) and those actresses who do only female-centric movies for the major part(Kangana, Taapsee, Vidya). Do you think both these categories can become numeru-uno? I don't think so. For me, an actress needs to have a balance between these two kind of films, to gain an acceptance among a more wholesome audience.

For me, I love Taapsee and Disha but they are limiting themselves by sticking to one kind of films. They are going to get slotted easily.

Taapsee will get the support of the woke audiences and Disha the launde lapades. But to win both, now that's difficult.

If Public loves you , then you are No1. Getting one hit song after another is not easy. Ask Deepika who has none. Katrina had the whole country dancing to Sheila or Chikni Chameli or Bang Bang/Kala Chasma. She was surely loved by the masses. I dont know if Shraddha or Disha will achieve Kat's level of success. N I dont think we should just disregard what Kat has achieved cos her acting skills are sub par.

Same with Deepika. Ppl love her OTT styled SLB movies. She has worked hard to reach No 1.

Tapsee, Kangana and all will never be No 1 because No1 need to have some kind of larger than life image which many of them lack. Good actresses though.

Same goes for Malaika Arora, her Chaiya Chaiya and Munni Badnaam Hui are sooooooo popular. But just like we can't declare her No. 1 or Jacqueline Fernandez, the same logic applies to Katrina. You need to have acting skills to be No. 1. That's like a minimum requirement.
