When Anupama falls down broken only her ‘good’ kid and Maama help her ...her husband, MIL or Toshu didn’t console her, give her support and made it seem like Anus fault

The family is a disgrace

Rakhi ‘behan’ might have been a big bi*** but she wasn’t wrong ! She nailed it when she said Anu is a house maid and that her daughter was going to face the same fate. She called all the family members out for being what they are and nailed it when she described Vanraj

I fast watched the epi cause I was hoping to see Anu breath some fire but she was a loser as usual

Honestly Kinjals mom is right! Her daughter would be very unhappy in that family

i dont think soo looser is approriate word for anupama i disagree with you here

anumapa is really genuine and innocent as person like rakhiben she cant yelled at the top of her lungs

yes anupama should take stand for herself when people like rakhiben , toshu and vinraj disrespect her

in most of culture wife dont have right to speak up in front of husband when husband already in rage

that make things worst there better been quite

but anu really make me

pissed off sometime when anupama didnt speak when toshu disrespect her there she can speak even her culture give her right to do that

she should say to toshu how dare you speak to me like this

some part what rakhiben said was right but some part she was wrong like may be her daughter was treated like anu

anu was treated like that because her mother-e-law was leela she is dominating but kinjal mother-e-law gonna be anupama she is kind

and polite and iam sure kinjal can see that not even kinjal any one can see that

Anu is uneducated this is her choice and her situation was not good that time but just because she is uneducated that

doesnot mean rakhiben get right to humiliate her whatever things happen to anu in shah family its non of rakhiben bussiness

as u said kinjal cant be happy in shah house she will b happy i feel because u doesnot need anything u just want be with that

person who u love that is more then enough rest thing is secondary

anu can tolerate anything but when things come on her kid she become strong and confident

and we see that in funfair

Didn't like Rakhi Ben shouting at janmashtami pooja, by shouting Rakhi have not only insult anupama but also insult God too . Ok she doesn't not want to marry her daughter with toshi but shouting during at pooja this is too much

We get angry but at some place when pooja is going on peace is maintain and anger is controlled during pooja

Though I dislike Rakhi for creating drama during janmashtami pooja but she hit on target that position of anupama in house is just maid

You can be a genuine person and still stand up for yourself

There is NO reason Anupama has to take this shit day in and day out

As for being a MIL, Anupama cant even breathe without the entire family saying when, you think she will have the right to speak up for her DIL?

The woman cant stand up for herself one bit, yet she is going to do that for her DIL and fight for her right to be independent and work? Yeah right!

Anu's MIL and husband run the show and household..if they say Kinjal has to wear a sari, do the housework and isnt allowed to work, that is what will happen. Anu will not go against her 'god' like husband.

I never said Rakhis behr was justified. I said her words hit the mark regarding the family members and she called them out for being two faced.

So yes Rakhi was right to not marry her daughter into that family of losers as she called it

Yeah. I too felt the same. Also Anupama doesn't have self respect😔 which made me annoyed watching the show and less said about her husband and children.

Somehow i feel its fault that her children doesn't respect her🤢.

Honestly in the entire epi almost all of them were right and wrong at some point..

Rakhi words about Shah family was on the point to be honest.. she was absolutely right about vanraj and her mom and what future her daughter might end up holding in that house.. her fears are actually correct and not to mention paritosh is another vanraj in the making and probably more worse.. but rakhi was wrong in her unnecessary insult to anupamaa and the family.. she should have taken her daughter away and explained her than raise her voice to Shah family..

Vanraj was right in putting paritosh in his place about running behind rakhi who insulted his parents and left.. anyone In his place would have come forward and protected his moms dignity but paritosh was more bothered about his love story than his own parents.. but then vanraj treats anupamaa as his personal punch bag.. almost all the problems in the world is blamed on anupamaa .. before rakhi came everyone was happy about kinjal dressing and all calling her daughter in law and suddenly after rakhi came all the blame moved on anupamaa instantly.. 😳

Anupamaa needs to stop going over board on things.. paritosh and kinjal might be in love but self respect and dignity is more important.. she needs to stop being a doormat and take all the blame at all times

I just read the written updates, haven't watched the episode yet but I agree with you. Without even Rakhi saying a single word, whenever those children disrespected Anupamaa - I always thought that she is just like the free maid of the house. Who gives birth to kids, does all work without saying a thing and often works as a punching bag of literally everyone. She doesn't even have financial independence of her own. Even if she is a housewife, doesn't housewives have their own way of managing money? Why she can't help her own Mother, why she can't ask for money directly without a reason. Let's face it, many maids are treated better than Anupamaa. That whole family is full of scumbags expect two.

Hey i agree with u😊

If we keep the high drama aside , rakhi made some apt remarks as she has judged them all . Being a mother she was fully active in stopping the development that she saw in kinjal paritosh relation , giving some rude but reality check to anupama & family.

I completely agree with this post. I thought Rakhi was a stereotypical vamp - mean, selfish, etc. While she is still that, her true love for her daughter and amazing judgement of people is impressive. She is right about Kinjal being blind in love and ignoring the truths about the family and maybe Paritosh. Paritosh has been way too pampered by his grandmother, father and even Anupama. He expects everything to be perfectly ready for him so that he can excercise and study. He doesn't even fill his own water bottle and has zero gratitude that his mother makes his life so comfortable. In short, he is an entitled , spoilt brat. He has no respect for the father he idolizes too. If he and Kinjal are to have any conflict in future, which is inevitable in a marriage, he will always except Kinjal to bow down to his wish like his father makes his mom do. Rakhi was right about him being a MC.

Anupamaa is a sweetheart but no matter how much she would want to support Kinjal, she would get instantly overridden by Baa and Vanraj. She has no standing in the house and so she can't take a stand for anyone. For eg. Baa was the only one who had issues with Kinjal's dressing on Janmashtami. Anupamaa's way of protecting Kinjal was dressing Kinjal traditionally (in short, acceding to Baa's wishes) rather than taking a stand for Kinjal. Anupama could have pointed out that ultimately it was heartfelt prayers that mattered to God and not jewellery or clothes or hairstyles. Kinjal was dressed plainly but decently.

Rakhi's behaviour is rude and mean and I don't stand for it and her methods at all. On the other hand, her reading of other people and love for her daughter is spot on.

In this serial , I do like the 'side' characters more than the lead characters - Devika, Rakhi and to some extent Kavya. They are varied and realistic. Anupamaa, unfortunately, does things willingly which I find unrealistic. I mean, for heaven's sake, for the first time in 25 years, she gets to visit her friends, call her 'mayka' on Raksha Bandhan, even see the school for which two of her children have passed out (!) and she STILL loves her husband. If she was bearing all this because of her children or her financial dependence, I would find it realistic but this is unbelievable. On a lighter note, 2020 is turning out to be a fantastic year for Anupamaa as she is getting to do so many things 'for the first time in 25 years'.
