Why so many issues with Gunjan Saxena’s fictional portrayal?

It’s a movie not a documentary of course everything shown is not true. But which biopic or war movie or a movie with male officer as a protagonist is true. None. Is MS Dhoni movie completely true? No. Is Uri completely true? Of course not. But no one complained at their fictionalisation. That are so many so many movies with male officers as protagonists and they do unbelievable acts of bravery from Border to Uri. None of us truly believe all these acts to be true. We all know it’s fictionalised to some extent .But we still enjoy these acts of bravery in the movie. So what’s wrong if the climax of Gunjan Saxena is fictionalised? Gunjan Saxena was portrayed in the movie fighting the circumstances surrounding her and emerging can victorious. Of course the some circumstances were exaggerated or fictional but so were in several other war movies like Border or Uri. So what’s the issue now?

If MS Dhoni himself had any complaints about the movie, I would have supported him.

Here the IAF pilot herself has problem with the movie. So yeah.

It’s common that every movie creates some kind of controversy, be it Nirja,M.S Dhoni, Sanju etc..you’re not biriyani so you can’t make everyone happy. That’s why I don’t bother about it. It was a good movie and I liked it. That’s it for me 😁
