Can someone tell me what’s the big deal in meeting the leader of the country where you’re shooting your movie ? It’s not like he’s running for office or campaigning with her ? I’m confused ?

Aamir said in an interview from the first lady's house how is wife feels safe there. They have human rights abuses in Turkey. But his wife simultaneously does not feel safe in India a democratic country. People are fussing over the hypocrisy.

There is a protocol according to Dr. Swamy when you go to a country that is anti-India or any country you take an ambassador with you. He didn't follow that. Dr. Swamy said, "Aamir needs to be interrogated as he is probably planning an escape. Dr. Swamy states that powerful Bollywood mafia people, which he claims the three musketeers (Khans) lead are responsible for Sushant's death." They planted Rhea in his life and Mahesh Bhatt to make him look mad.

Turkey has been found openly being anti-India, be it regarding Kashmir, giving help to IsIs, or being supportive of Anti-CAA protests and others.

He should have atleast informed the ambassador , consulate , embassy of this meeting.

India has poor diplomatic relations with Turkey. Erdogan is a dictator and has been leading the country right-ward towards being Islamist whereas Turkey used to be known in the past as a more liberal Muslim country compared to others. They have been increasingly getting close to Pakistan and consider Pakistan their partner. He has been trampling human rights, attacking Kurds and putting his naysayers in jail. He's also an anti-semite. A lot of the world's Muslims hate him too so it's not a strictly religious thing.

Aamir claims to be a liberal who is supposedly scared in India. Why is he then whitewashing people like Erdogan and giving them an opportunity to use him for PR purposes?

But then maybe he is just dumb and self-centered. It's possible that he just wanted to be seen next to a world leader for his own validation and miscalculated the whole thing. Most celebs are dumb as a doorknob.
