Kareena holds the highest opening day for a female-led film. She has a raw star appeal and has made great choices throughout her career. Probably the only actress in modern times that never stopped working and kept giving major successes. Her stardom is set and only on the rise.

You're joking right? Because Veere couldn't even get financing and they had to literally put ADS in the movie. If Kareena's stardom is legit then they would've found financing for the film immeditealy. What a load of bs. She's got no stardom.

She doesn't give a damn about her role. Connections help her find small roles in big and hit movies. My favorite actress but that's a fact.

Put gossip about her. Hail her as a gorgeous diva. She will become a star! You just need to have basic acting chops that’s it.

Firstly it's luck or destiny. Next Kareena has sex appeal and screen presence. She made her mark in front of AB, SRK, HR, Kajol in K3G. She played the glamourous, OTT, Style icon with aplomb and won fans. She was the new buzz then. Later with JWM, she displayed good acting skills and made the self love icon and blabber mouth Geet as likable.

Over the years she has created a name for herself and her name does sell, if not solo, then as good package deal

Yes she has used tactics to stay in news but there was something in her too, that made her the buzz. Others have tried similar techniques but failed.

It's quite simple. People are losing shiz ever since Kareena announced her pregnancy. People are going to discuss her no matter what. People who call her bimbo are the ones who fall in her trap and unintentionally keep hyping her. Then they wonder, how the hell she is surviving. She just bothers people. People won't give up what she did in the past or what she says. She has that reach and influence. I used to compare her with Aish but without Cannes, Aish just vanished.

Karishma's hit era ran from 96-2000 (raja hindustani to fiza). After that she fizzled out slowly.

Also I cannot agree with that reason -- if audiences are interested in you, they will like you and want to watch you regardless of whether you are out of media spotlight or not. Kajol wasn't exactly ambitious either - she retired at the peak of her career, came back after 5 or so years, and won everryone's heart with Fanaa (then later MNIK). Rani is still doing good work. Sridevi made successful comeback films too.

If Karishma really was as popular with the audience, ppl would have remembered her.
