I love Kareena. I I think she is still on top of her game for many reasons:

1) Before anything else she is a very talented actress. Her performances in movies such as Talash, Udta Punjab, Jab we Met, Omkara showcase her talent.

2) She is stunning and very beautiful.

3) She has that star charisma - the X factor.

4) She has evolved with times whether it her style or her acting.

5) She is professional. How many directors or producers have ever come out accusing her go being unprofessional in her 20 year career? On top go my head I can't think of any.

6) She has never taken a pro-longed absence with films. She has consistently worked on films.

7) She is on good terms with most of her co-stars and other Bollywood celebrities.

8) She has a very supportive partner when it comes to films. A lot of women don't find men that are truly supportive of their careers.

9) She taken good care of her physical appearance, We all know how obsessed Bollywood is with physical appearance.

10) She is also does not appear to be fake and does not pretend to be something she is not. I find this to be refreshing.

Bollywood is a cut throat industry and anyone that can survive for this long deserves some credit.

Anyways, I like her and this is my take on her success. Others might not agree......

Karishma's hit era ran from 96-2000 (raja hindustani to fiza). After that she fizzled out slowly.

Also I cannot agree with that reason -- if audiences are interested in you, they will like you and want to watch you regardless of whether you are out of media spotlight or not. Kajol wasn't exactly ambitious either - she retired at the peak of her career, came back after 5 or so years, and won everryone's heart with Fanaa (then later MNIK). Rani is still doing good work. Sridevi made successful comeback films too.

If Karishma really was as popular with the audience, ppl would have remembered her.

She has everything BW expects in an ideal heroine

- Fair as Snow White but can speak Hindi properly

- talented
