No denying the fact that Mumbai Police has done an absolutely shoddy job regarding the investigation.They didn’t even seal the flat..giving reporters access to enter the flat.Sandip Singh himself told in republic tv that the police did not take any statement from him.Now they are reluctant to give the phone asked by the ED. And what about the results of the tensile test of the cloth?Did they even test it?

No wonder there is so much of anger regarding this case.

All these details of the pathetic job by Mumbai Police is making me very very angry!!!!! Don't want to say some untoward things. Taking a break for some time.

Umang Mumbai Police work only for criminals who give them money...👎🏼

And it makes me also feel so sad.. like see the happiness in his sister's eyes, you know it has that spark that our parents have when we go home after ages (as most of us stay away) and the whole family sits together to have fun. Mumbai Police has been embarrassingly incompetent in this case, no doubt. But this isn't just about them. The Supreme Court cannot set a precedent where anybody can register their case anywhere in India. Singhvi, counsel for Maharashtra, mentioned that in court too.

Mr. Singhvi said Rajput’s father had never approached the Mumbai police.

“Now, can a victim or an accused say I don’t like the Mumbai police and write to Kerala or Karnataka police to register a case? This is a fundamental assault on federalism. Opinion of accused, victim don’t change fundamental principles of law. Law and order is exclusively within State competence. Victims and accused don’t get to decide who and where a case will be investigated,” he countered.

He said the case should not set a precedent for flouting local jurisdiction and allow people to file FIRs in places remote from where the incident actually occurred.

As I've said before multiple times, Mumbai Police should lose the investigation and it should go to the CBI or even the National Investigation Agency(NIA) which does not require a state's permission but it should be through Maharashtra or The Supreme Court. Bihar has absolutely nothing to do with this case and the judge should not set a precedent which would cause massive headaches in the future with people filing FIRs all over the country instead of where the crime occured.

What I think is , Mumbai Police has been careless in handling this case and then they dont want that carelessness and the causality with which this case was handled to come out in open.. Be it by ED or by Bihar Police or for that matter CBI. Hence the reluctance to cooperate. Considering they had been informed(or a senior had been informed and still it was ignored), they are trying to save their A** and their reputation is at stake. The basically F**ked up. SOrry for the language here. And since Mumbai Police has got a name and somewhat also represents Maha Bureaucracy hence the involvement of Maha Government. That's to it.

I just feel by now a lot of proofs would have diminished or would have gone missing or would have been tampered with. The flat was supposed to be sealed, infact no one should have been allowed inside other than family member. Nor Sandeep or any of his friends(real or fake).This carelessness would have led to a situation where the case has become unsolvable , a case that was pretty easy to crack. I am not sure if the family would ever get their justice. They would forever remain hurt because of what has happened.. SUch losses can never be forgotten💔..

However If they get justice , it would hurt less.

Guys it is really important for us to ignore at least until SSR get justice. Dont fall for traps. Focus on SSR.

This is very true. I see how people at many places are making efforts to divert the attenion from SSR'd case. There is a tsunami of other nonsense topics to make sure the audience do not think much on SSR case.
