Is Brinda really dumb?

She had nobody to help her out or guide her. Everybody around her cheated and betrayed her except for her two moms and father. She was like a deer caught in the headlights when she found out her Naagin identity.

Was it really her fault that she took time to understand everything and didn't latch on to stuff like a superwoman?

Yes the way Mukhta portray her character , I think she is the most dumbest and stupid Naagin . I can’t imagine how the main lead of the serial can be so stupid ! Nia is a great actress but brainless creatives destroyed her whole character .

first of all brinda was a simple innocent girl.though shivangi also became a naagin only after a particular age she was smart n educated unlike brinda who was a maid's daughter.also other naagins had a strong support system where as brinda had only her mother to support who was an ordinary human being

But how exactly is she stupid? She was naive and emotional, but I don't think she did anything particularly stupid; except for not realizing that Dev was being controlled by Shalakha.

I mean, she was already suspecting Shalakha of doing black magic, so she should've suspected that Dev did not shoot Swara by his own volition.
