In the hospital Meher doesn't even turn around when she hears a seemingly familiar tune Manav hums when they both get some water in the corridor. And turning around to see the hummer would be the most natural thing a person would do if some memory is stirred in this context >

As a proper CBI officer he would and should be suspicious of any piece of information related to a case he is investigating - in this case the '2k crore scam' case.
