And LOL yes, these two vids you posted I also just saw some portions of and they just looked so lame and wohi typical wannabe pseudo bolly fusion types that I just didn't feel it's worth my time.

I'll definitely try to check it out....abhi toh I'm at work so shaam ko hi hoga whenever I can.

Well I don't think this will be to Broken ka level cuz usmein actors dono better the.....ismein I'm not sure I will warm up to the girl.....but let's see. lol. The guy did seem like the better one of the two from the promos also but the girl was just looking so lame and blahh, I didn't feel like tuning in😆. But maybe that was the bad promos, so ek aur chance de lete hain😆

Exactly it made it look so c grade desperate makeout mixed with music show when it's really not they have not shown the main core of the show in the promo either it's more the dedication and l8ve towards the art than just lame bakwaas

Oh I am jot comparing to broken in terms of content by that I meant it has that special quality that broken had that was hard to point too like it's not what it seemed like at first go and impresses in the final product 😆

Actually, I mostly liked it😆....Radhe definitely stands out. I was pleasantly surprised to see most of the focus on the classical side/gharaana angle of the story rather than playing up the hashtag waali popstar angle which I find irritating. And that's why the promo was so misleading and did injustice to their own content caz that's the core of the show that's the crux of the story they are the main characters the gharana is what it's all about yet it was hardly in the promo. I loved the way they've shown the dedication towards this art the respect they shower on it and how precious it is to them despite the hardships they face due to the restrictions that come with it yet they all have such love for it and the whole thing is shown so beautifully the love and respect towards the genuine art of classical singing was the highlight. The stand out scene moment of the episode was when the ignorant fools like tam make fun if it and how radhe shuts them by his singing and they go spellbound 😆

The sheer PRESENCE of Naseeruddin Shah in the opening riyaaz wala scene as he picks on each person to sing....awesome. Definitely refreshing to see a show making the effort to show the nuances and efforts of training in and making music than just doing token songs.

Tamanna ki first concert also wasn't bad....I was expecting worse based on the promos....lol....her initial scenes were actually fine with her frustration of feeling a creative block, her interaction with her dad etc. The instant flirting with Radhe was kinda weird and part of what I felt was OTT in the promos also.....but there are definitely moments of thehraav in her character as she honestly appreciates his music. Yup and that's why I said you'll warm upto her caz she isn't really the bimbo the promo made her out to be. She may not be as talented and might be modern but she isn't dumb and that itself is a win caz usually such characters are reduced to be caricatures and mindless bimbos or mean dolls. Tammanah is neither she has this honesty in her character too despite her being not so talented yes the portions where she's trying to flirt were a little ott but I've seen worse 😆

The scene when Radhe has a breakthrough moment of cracking that sur the first time he meets Tam after the concert....lol that was a good one....the way he ran all the way back to his grandad while holding the note😆. Also, the guy has a nice, deep sounding voice that stands out nicely in his scenes. Good actor. I've been watching the xray videos and am even more blown away with how much learning it was for all of them esp ritvik to lipsync all the classical songs to get the body language gestures facial expressions right and then after learning all that, learning how to make mistakes in takes when radhe makes a mistake and I was blown by that aaj kal who puts this much effort in a character. He gets better and radhe is just a sweetheart. I am genuinly curious about the future projects of him caz I really adored how well done radhe is . Btw is it me or he resembles ali zafar a bit I kept getting distracted at times

I like the patronage angle....it has a dignity in the way it has been woven in ki from old times, the kings used to value the musicians and give them so much respect in their courts. Abhi yeh modern day king is also valuing a classical singer so much so that's nice. Yup I had a feeling that this highness might turn out to be evil at some.point but nope he has grey for sure and won't ruin it but he isn't a meanie moonh pe kuch aur aur parth peeche kuch aur.

Radhe's family dynamics are interesting so far with his dad feeling the financial constraints, then his chacha and even his mom.....all well cast.

Chalo, I liked it enough to keep watching....will try to watch the rest by evening.

I am excited for you to watch the rest 🥳

When I saw how lame the freakin song titles were only with titles like “couple goals”, I instantly heavily downgraded the show in my eyes. Kahaan basic promising concept of a fusion music story turned into such lameness.

But sounds like these were mindless marketing gimmicks to pander to shallow superficial millennial types who only care for lame remix type songs and token bimbos. Lol what a waste.

I wish shows would have more respect for their own content while trying to market themselves. Yeh pandering ke chakkar mein aur losers lagte hain.

I was finding these titles lame in the show toowhen I haven't seen these videos and going what tacky names they came up with in name of their viral hits 🤣 That's the one part I feel they could've done better but I guess they were meant to be clickbait there too and aise bhi log aise hi lame clickbait ko click karte hain so I agree totally offputting and cringe phelane wala bakwaas . I wish they decided to show more of the classical side of music. It's almost ironic in a way that the love for classical music that they are trying to bring back in a way is kept aside in the promotions for the random bakwaas like this caz they probably thought the public won't watch them haha

Just watched epi 2.....amazing how they showed the whole shuddhikaran in so much detail....man, I'm very impressed by the level of detail in trying to show rigorous training and discipline to master the classical traditions.

Most stories wouldn't bother showing every step of the process itna detail mein....but the way they were showing him navigating the 7 candle test....with advise from his chacha, his mom.....I just loved that whole sequence 👏

Re: Tam....lol well I like her more when she isn't trying to be "sex kitten" with Radhe.....some of the flirting scenes are quite extra. It's better when there's some banter and convo....Radhe is ofcourse clearly smitten by her but regrets that it lands him into trouble each time.....while she's a bit flighty and impulsive right now doing random things.

The jail scene was funny😆.....and it was funny that they translated "chhichhori" to "unpredictable" in the subtitles😆.....yeah Tam is deffo unpredictable but chhichori means something else - more cheap types😆

I'm mostly liking the music so far....especially the classical pieces and the depiction of them is lovely.

Chalo I'll start epi 3 soon....although I do feel the "falling in love" is happening kinda fast so far😆.....

Aajkal log pandemic mein kayi baar bolte hain...."What has society come to"....lol toh itne saalon se sab log so rahe the when this descent into superficiality was happening? Ab toh jo hai, yehi reh gaya hai.....this is the expectation from people ki sab log superficial shallow types hi hain toh unko yehi type ka "clickbait" pasand aayega....lol

As if "clickbaiting" people in with the promise of some shallow wannabe pop love story will make them happy when they see a classical music waali story instead😕😆

Isse achha toh classical music ki thodi value kar lo in your promotion. But naa....expectation hi yehi hai ki sab reject hoga.....apne content mein faith hai nahin toh phir banaate kyun hain?😕😆.....yeh ajeeb funda hai ki content kuch hota hai, marketing kuch aur.....north pole and south pole😕

Yes precisely the shuddhikaran the detail the rigorous training was really got me into it and made me actually take intrest usse pehle I was kinda watching in BG but that developed my intrest and then I was totally in I am also blown away by the research they did to out that much detail like the candles keeping track of time. I loved chacha and mom too guiding him making sure he isn't punished for something so small for his entire life. I liked the mirchi bada scene too

Exactly as if I won't be mad to watch the show if e.g i liked this nonsense lame music videos to watch it. It's just so ridiculously misleading and cheats the viewer either ways when the core is something totally different than what these videos predict them to be.

I'll check out all these X-ray vids once I'm done with the epis too....but yeah the level of detailing shows they put a lot of thought and dedication into how they showed it.

Just finished epi 3.....oh no, third angle bhi le aaye bechaare Radhe ke liye abhi se?😆.....and I was like this girl looks so familiar toh cast dekhi and it's that Tridha girl from your Dahleez show, right?😆....small world...lol

This role playing stuff was weird when it first started but then got better later on.....like the moment in the car when Radhe earnestly describes his first impression of her and refuses to stick to superficial things like she keeps asking him to.....then later on the scenes at the wedding function. Radhe has an underlying confidence in him despite otherwise being such a naive, innocent boy in many ways. The way he handles all the putdowns or smirks even from Tam, slowly peels back layers to his character and he endears himself to the audience.

You can actually see bit by bit how he even surprises Tam even though she considers herself smarter and more experienced than him. And the other interesting thing about these moments is that Tam seems to resent it when he manages to breach the walls of cynicism in her. She then tries to deflect things by trying to turn it into flirting or sexual games but Radhe manages to still break through in his own way.

Fundamentally, what's been obvious from the day he met her.....she's the one who challenges him to reach his potential. The first time he had a breakthrough in cracking that note/sur was when she challenged him to sing and he achieved it in a burst of emotion.....and then in this epi, he was able to capture the bhaav/feel of the romantic song Panditji is teaching him mainly because Tam is pulling emotions out of him....not really cuz of the roleplay but because she fundamentally challenges him to come out of his sheltered life and experience more emotions in the world.

I keep forgetting to mention but that friend of Radhe's is quite funny with his side commentary and one-liners😆

Chalo toh ab Radhe is gonna get caught between family pressure to marry that girl and his feelings for Tam😆

Oh and I also love that they are using Javed Ali's voice for Radhe.....ah man, the classical bits are just so lovely to hear in all these riyaaz sessions. ❤️
