Sonali Bendre: Ready for a comeback?
The rarely-seen Sonali Bendre will soon serve on the jury for an award, along with several esteemed people from the film industry. "I wondered why they chose me to be part of this eminent panel," says Sonali. "But I suppose they wanted a different perspective. I'm just happy and honoured they thought of me."
In the few years she's been away from cinema, Sonali had gained some weight. But now, she's looking slim and beautiful as ever. Does this herald a Bollywood comeback? "Actually, I haven't done anything major (to lose weight)," says the actress, "I had a baby, so I put on weight. It's normal; every woman goes through that phase. In that same normal way, as my baby is growing, I'm losing weight running after him!"
Sonali will also appear as a judge on a reality TV show. But the big screen might have to wait, as family has become her priority. "My priorities in life are different now," she says, "I am open to doing anything that falls in place with them." Never say never, right?
