No. He isn't gutsy. He has turned into a complete bjp mouthpiece. He has support of the central govt so he is pretty much untouchable

And bjp and shiv sena are not friends. Not any more. After the maharashtra fiasco, they are pretty much enemies. So the bjp must be jumping in joy on seeing the thackeray name connected to the matter and given him a free hand.

Though in this case he has helped by making enough noise so that people cannot ignore the case. So for that I'm glad. But just wanted to point out that he isn't a unbiased gutsy reporter by any stretch of the imagination

Rhea didn't ask for any protection. She just requested for the case to not be handled by Bihar police and it rather be handled by Mumbai police/CBI. So why are some reports saying court denied protection to Rhea?

Sushant is a simple guy who came from Patna and who has built his image from scratch. Baseless accusations of that kind remain blots on his image, especially since people are not generally easy on outsiders. There was a time where people irrationally called him skirt-chaser, drug-addict, rapist and what not only because of Masand's stupid blinds. These kind of things may have taken a toll on his mental health especially since he's known to be a sensitive person. Everyone is different, and we can't compare him to established actors like Salman and Akshay.

But yes I definitely think that there's definitely more to the story and that Rhea is no saint otherwise why would she refuse a CBI investigation? Pretty sure that Sushant's family wouldn't baselessly accuse Rhea. Anything can emerge and shock everybody

I’m pretty sure Mahesh is keeping low for now but he’ll come out once enquiry starts/CBI is involved fully.

I have a feeling the family is directing/asking who can speak up and who cannot.
Mahesh is the only person who knows Sush for a long time without loosing touch. He might not know much about the case but don’t see him involved.

Interim Protection is a legal term that is used by the court to approve or deny an appeal made by a respondent. Rhea's lawyer had applied for a protective order to the SC to stop Bihar Police from interrogating Rhea, which the SC refused. So with no interim protection from questioning, the Bihar Police can ask their questions to Rhea in connection to the case. But since the Bihar Government has already asked CBI to take over the case, the CBI can now call her up for questioning.

Except it has not been handed over to CBI yet. The centre has accepted the request of CBI enquiry from Bihar govt. The court didn't say anything on it (as in approve or deny). So till it's handed over, Bihar police can still continue with its investigation.
