Regarding the police complaint in feb- A retired officer was saying no formal compliant lodged, family wanted to take action without any written complaint. They said thats not possible. Further he stated that even if complaint was lodged, sushant was a major. Police cannot go and say to a major adult why are you living with your gf and allowing her to exploit you? etc Sushant can always say i am above 18 years i can live with whomever i want who are you to ask? The police officer even said Sushant was above 18 years if he had problems with Reah he should have himself filed a complaint.
What i feel is that since Reah came in his life, she was taking care of his house and other aspects of life. Nowadays usually GFs/Wifes expect privacy and do not want the boys parents/siblings etc to interfere much in their lives and ask any questions etc. So there was a friction going on. If you look at Sushants friend releasing whats app chats you can read it on IF. In that it shows that Sushant did not even want to read whatsapp messages from sister/bro in law and hence messages were sent to his friend Siddarth or whoever that guy name was from his bro in law.
This could be another side or angle police must look
Reah could have used up his money but may be Sushant was aware and permitted it. Otherwise crores cannot be siphoned as actors have lawyers, CA etc handling their income tax. Even bank if large tranasctions happen they usually call individual to ask and than only transfer money. Since online frauds have increased. So if reah has transferred crores of his money what was bank and CA doing? Why they never told Sushant? Many depressed people work in companies make major decisions, its not like they cannot. So why was Sushant not informed?
Hey, just your first para, I agree police can’t do much when sushant is an adult. But they can go to him and say, the family is concerned. You should atleast tell them ( or police) you don’t want to be bothered or no cause for concern. That message can be communicated back to the family. That would absolve police of negligence.
I know this because I was in a similar situation before, where a person whom I knew completely cut off ties with me and I was worried for them, and went to the cops. I didn’t lodge any compliant but when I verbally voiced my concerns, they called that person, and told me that the person doesn’t wish to be contacted, but is fine/ healthy.
ETA, people questioning the family’s timing of filing FIR, after a month... when someone passes away, there are so many rituals, processes that need to be done in a timely manner, and ofcourse they are grieving so much, it would have been irresponsible for them to make a media statement, or prematurely file a case without proper due diligence.
We don’t know if Rhea has any involvement other than being his GF, or maybe she did do something, but I don’t think the family can be questioned of wrong doing, when thy have just been doing their best and taking every legal option available to them.
