I hope this decision to talk to Arnab was a "calculated" decision and not an emotional one.

Because if she was the "actress-friend" who has been helping the family, then I gotta say, Anki has so far been very smart about how she has done things - by being low-key , almost slipping under the radar, and taking things directly to his family - who have an ips officer and bjp politicians in their family.

Gosh, if all the rumours of the Mumbai police being in cahoots with the perps r true, I shudder to think what would have happened if she had gone to the Mumbai police first.

I'm proud of anki but scared for her too. This matter is getting so murky. Only thing is she has a solid support system in the form of her family members and sushant's family too, if I may say. I hope they will protect her.

Ok Ankita has clarified that the whole chat thing is rumour.. she and sushant never talked after break up. But Bihar police went to her house to record her statement today. Whatever it is i hope she is safe and all these mess do not create more problems for her. She has already suffered a lot. It was heartbreaking when she said our breakup was end of our story

As odd as this choice of word is, I am somehow... relieved? I just could not put it together in my head that they had spoken at all, let alone in some secret chats where he expressed all of his grief. That was legit making my brain short circuit so I'm glad I don't have to keep trying to make sense of it.

It was also interesting that she finally kind of let it out... "jab Sushant yahaan se gaye"... I mean we all figured as much but I agree it was strangely sad to hear her say it out loud for the first time.

At the same time her choice of words in the next sentence was pretty amusing to me, "humne kabhi ek dusre ki shakal bhi nahin dekhi." Lol Ankita, never change. Also the word shakal always, without fail, makes me think of "mujhe iss ki shakal pasand nahin hai aur main iss se nafrat karti hoon."

All that said... are there any reliable news sites? Like even one...? They all run with the same stories that aren't even true. The one about the psychiatrist's initial statement, this one about the texts... I can't think of any sources that didn't peddle these bits of fiction.

Is the entire interview out? I saw bits and pieces from couple of clips on YT. I think the clarification of hers about not being that actress friend wasn't there in those clips.

I am relieved that she isn't the secret source because well, it isn't a secret anymore if she declared it on TV and after all the shit that has gone down, dunno if it would have been even safe for her. I am frustrated that she chose to give this interview. I love her n all but c'mon girl, what was even the point of this?
